In between 13/06/2008 at 2200 hrs and 14/06/2008 at 0630 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Della Mobile Signal shop near bus stand at Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk belonging to one Della Zeenath (30) R/o Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk by breaking shutter lock and committed theft of mobiles 31 and cash Rs.4, 500/ all in worth Rs. 75,250/.

No. KA-19-S-8512 belonging to one Denzil Rodrigus (27) R/o Kulashekara Mangalore that was parked in front of Mangala Bar at Valencia Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 25,000/.

No. KA-30-1894 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-911. As a result one Abdul Lathif (50) R/o NMPT colony Panambur Mangalore pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Uppinangady Police Station. On 14/06/2008 at 0830 hrs on NH 48 at Mata Uppinangady Town Puttur Taluk one Santhosh driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2396 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due bus fell into a roadside ditch. As a result one Mohammad K. (28) R/o Uppinangady Puttur Taluk and other passengers who were traveling in the said bus sustained simple injuries.

On 13/06/2008 at 1630 hrs accused one driver bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-7659, conductor and agent of said bus stopped a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA19-F-2130 at Kariamoole Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk and abused one Ramanath driver of the KSRTC bus while he was on duty. Motive seems to be dispute on overtaking of the bus.

• A case of abandoning a newborn child has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station on the complaint of one Dr. Poornima J. C/o Lady Goshan hospital Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that on 13/06/2008 at 1600 hrs unknown female left her newborn male baby at Lady Goshan hospital at Mangalore and went away.

• A case of Woman missing has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. One Yashodha (28) R/o near Deccan Park Malavooru village Mangalore Taluk went to work near Malavooru Bridge Mangalore on 13/06/2008 at 0800 hrs and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then

The Tipper lorry is worth Rs. 16,43,025/.

In the complaint it is alleged that accused Raja (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to one Philomina owing to family dispute.
  

• A case under Rape, Criminal intimidation along with Cheating has been registered in Kadaba Police Station where in it is alleged that accused one Saji had sexual intimacy with a nineteen year girl of Koppa Noojibalthila village Puttur Taluk by promising to marry her and due which she became pregnant. There upon he cheated her by refusing to marry her and he also gave life threat to her.

Further they were admitted to Govt. hospital at Mangalore where in Dr. Vijaya Singh declared dead while under treatment on same day.

In the complaint it is alleged that accused Ibrahim R/o Janatha colony Karambaru village Belthangady Taluk gave physical and mental harassment to one Zeenath (22) W/o Ibrahim to bring more dowry due to which on 09/06/2008 she committed suicide by hanging in her house.

As a result Geetha (39) R/o Chengala Kasaragod district Kerala State, Janardhana, Purushothama, Maloji Rao, Sundara Rao, Vedavathi, Dakoji Rao and Padmoji Rao who were traveling in the said Maruti Omni car sustained grievous injuries. Further they were admitted to A.J. hospital at Mangalore where in Purushothama Rao (57) and Maloji Rao (80) succumbed to their injuries while under treatment on the same day.

No. KA-19-F-2337 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-18-H-2337. As result Sandesh Padivala motorcycle rider and pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injures and admitted to Mangala hospital at Mangalore where in Sandesh Padival succumbed to his injuries while under treatment. The KSRTC bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 08/06/2008 at 1730 hrs at Alladandady Badagarandoor village Belthangady Taluk one Mahadeva Nayak driver of Maxi cab bearing Reg. No. KA-30-2567 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-8752. As result Sanjeeva (28) motorcycle rider sustained serious injureis and died on the spot. Further Shridara (22) and Krishanappa (25) pillion riders of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries and they succumbed to their injuries while on the way to hospital.

On 02/06/2008 at 2245 hrs on the credible information of PSI Ullal PS along with staff conducted raid on Shri Krishna Complex at Ullal village Mangalore Taluk. At the time of raid Police found 18 persons playing “Ander -Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs. 37, 400/, 07 mobile phones, 01 tables, 08 chairs and playing cards from the spot by arresting Rughunatha Shetty (38), Olwin D’Souza (41), Ramesh Poojary (38), Sumanth (30), Naresh Belchada (30), Balakrishna Rai (54), Aziz (26), Bava K. On 30/05/2008 at 1430 hrs accused one Thaniyapp Gowda R/o Posaottu house Kanchimaru Bailu Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk picked up quarrel with his wife Kusuma in their house and assaulted her with wooden stick due which she got grievous injuries and died on the spot.
