- A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. Between 30/07/2006 and 14/09/2006 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Vani Vishwantha (44) R/o Premier Bell Apartment Bendoor Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments. The value of the stolen gold is not known as the owner of the house is presently residing abroad.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station One unknown driver of vehicle drove his vehicle rash and negligent manner and dashed against an unknown pedestrian aged about 35 years. As a result the pedestrian sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The vehicle driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in North Police Station. On 14/09/2006 at 0945 hrs near Reliance Web world at Hampankatta Mangalore one Ibrahim driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-3664 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruthi car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-1214 from behind driven by one Mohammed Rizwan (30) R/o Jodumaarga Bantwal due which car driver lost control and rammed to the another bus from the front. As a result car got damaged.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in North Police Station. On 14/09/2006 at 1115 hrs near Gowrimatt road Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Prathik (5) S/o Prakash Gayakwad Gowrimatt road Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 14/09/2006 at 1030 hrs at Ariya Amtady village Bantwal Taluk one Ramesh driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9999 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-4926. As a result one Niyaz driver of auto rickshaw and one Adham (24) R/o Shanthiyangadi B.C. Road who was travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station On10/09/2006 at 1230 hrs near Badriya Nagar Pavoor village one Mohammed Althaf driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-150 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due to which the auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Safwan (24) R/o Badriya Nagar Pavoor village who was travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 13/09/2006 at 1500 hrs at Mudipu Kurnadu village Mangalore Taluk one Usman rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No.KA-19-V-6494 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Santhan D’Souza (40) R/o Pajeer village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

- A case under NDPS Act has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 14/02/2006 at 1020 hrs on credible information PSI Panambur PS with staff arrested one Abdul Rahim @ Chappe Thanni Rahim (25) R/o Bengre Mangalore Taluk and seized 20 small pockets of Ganja from his pocket and 510 grams of Ganja from his plastic bag and also cash Rs. 110/ from his possession. Police apprehended him while he was selling Ganja near Sea Shore Panambur Mangalore Taluk .
