- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 16/10/2006 at 1900 hrs on NH 13 at Kajila Tenkulipadi village Mangalore Taluk one Sadiq driver of a Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-9252 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-4285. As a result motorcycle rider Khaleed (29) R/o Kolambe village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries and pillion rider of the said motor cycle Mohammed Rafiq (30) R/o Polali Kariyangala village Bantwala Taluk sustained grievous injuries. He was admitted to SCS hospital Mangalore where he succumbed his injuries on the same day at 2300 hrs while undergoing treatment.
