- A case under Murder along with Sec. 25 of Arms Act has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 1600 hrs of 24/04/2009 and 1900 hrs of 25/04/2009 a dead body of one Jobi Jeorge (20) R/o Putthetuvadavil Neria village Belthangady Taluk was found near forest at Neria village Belthangady Taluk. It seems to be that the cause of death due to firing by some unknown persons.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 25/04/2009 at 1130 hrs on NH 17 at Kapikadu Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one Suresh Kumar driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. HR-38-G-8390 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Hero Honda motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-14-H-3291. As a result motorcycle rider Mahammad Ashraf (24) and pillion rider Safiya (20) both residences of Kasaragod Kerala State sustained serious injuries and succumbed to their injuries while on the way to hospital.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 25/04/2009 at 1105 hrs near Rao & Rao circle at Mangalore one unknown driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5399 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly. As a result one Sumathi R/o Maroli Mangalore who was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre South Police Station. On 25/04/2009 at 2015 hrs on NH 13 Ghandhinagar Marpadi village Mangalore Taluk one Panduranga driver of Travera car bearing Reg. No. MH-12-EQ-1673 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-2340. As a result one Suresh Shetty (43) R/o Ontikatte Marpadi village Mangalore Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 20/04/2009 at 1200 hrs at Ganadapadpu Bantwal Mooda village Bantwal Taluk one Jaya Kotian driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8344 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-6168. As a result one Vanitha (44) R/o Bovinapadi Navooru village Bantwal Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. In between 0800 and 0915 hrs of 26/04/2009 one Patrick Vegas (55) R/o Moova Kuriyala village Bantwal Taluk fell down due to some illness near his house and died on the spot.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 1500 hrs and 1815 hrs of 25/04/2009 one Takamma (80) R/o Naiyalu Mundaje village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to health problem.
