On 21/07/2009 at 0230 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft a N-96 Mobile belonging to one Gagandas R/o Garoody Nethravathi Apartment Mangalore that was kept in his house. The value of stolen property is worth Rs. 32,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabire Police Station. On 22/07/2009 at 1645 hrs on NH 13 at Gandhinagara Marpadi village Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk one Shivarama Shetty (64) driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-2191 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against motorcycle cycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-1107. As a result Ashraf motorcycle rider and Yashwanth pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. Further Yashwanth succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

On 19/07/2009 at 1430 hrs on Subhramanya–Bellare road Tappalukollya Bellare Sullia Taluk one Prakash rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-8836 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle cycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-9756 driven by one Bhasheer (28) R/o Balila village Sullia Taluk. As a result one Ibrahim pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-9756 sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 21/07/2009 at 1100 hrs near Ashwin Circle at Puttur Town one Haneef rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-L-7611 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Puvappa Gowda R/o Ariyapu village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 22/07/2009 at 1100 hrs at Sampya Ariyapu village Puttur Taluk accused one Guru Prasad rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-9527 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-893. As a result Abbas (52) R/o Volamogaru village Puttur Taluk driver of said auto rickshaw, Dajamma, and Damodara who were traveling in the auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
