On 01/12/2009 at 0645 hrs near Bendoor church at Mangalore one unknown vehicle driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Astreed Martis R/o Bendoor Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 30/11/2009 at 1100 hrs in front of Sri Ramakeshthra at Kanyady Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-S-4316 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Sarala Shetty (51) R/o Hathyadka village Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 30/11/2009 at 1700 hrs at Parpunja Olamogaru village Puttur Taluk one driver of pickup vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-03-A-4249 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-6043. As a result motorcycle rider Abdul Majeed K.B. (36) R/o Mudnoor village Puttur Taluk and Thahira pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 01/12/2009 at 0815 hrs at Koranja Kaliya village Belthangady Taluk one Subramanya driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-616 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which lorry fell into a roadside ditch. As a result 20 to 25 passengers who were traveling in the said bus sustained simple injuries.

- A case under causing death due to negligence has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station on the complaint of one Naveen Menezes (32) R/o Narikomba village Bantwal Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that his wife one Celestine Laveen Menezes who was admitted to the Somayaji hospital at B.C. road Bantwal Taluk for treatment was died on 01/12/2009 at 1000 hrs due to the negligence of Dr. Maya Prabhu and staff of Somayaji Hospital.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 01/12/2009 one unknown male dead body aged about 50 to 55 yrs was found in Gurupura River at Dakke Mangalore. The death seems to be due to drawing.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station where in the dead body of Kavitha (14) R/o Sullia Town has been found in the river at Pilikody village Sullia Taluk on 01/12/2009. The said Kavitha (14) was reported missing from Sullia PS since 29/11/2009 at 1200 hrs and in this connection a case of Girl missing was already registered at Sullia PS. The death seems to be due drowning.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Ravindran (60) left his house on 27/11/2009 at 0400 and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
