On 01/12/2009 at 2200 hrs accused one Santhosh, Yogish and Geetha criminally restrained one Geetha (40) R/o Madyapadav village Mangalore Taluk near her house and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her by hand owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Rape, Kidnapping along with Criminal Conspiracy has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. 30/11/2009 at 2400 hrs accused Yakthar pasha, Shameer Khan and Sayyad Rahiman procured a minor girl R/o Bajal Mangalore and forcibly raped her. Further they kidnapped her and wrongfully confined her at Mysore.

No. KA-19-C-5027 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-2440. As a result Gilbert D’ Souza (37) R/o Attavara Mangalore rider of motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-R-6949 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Hilda Bangera R/o Jeppu Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

On 02/12/2009 at 0845 hrs on NH 17 at Kallapu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one Avinash driver of Ford car bearing Reg. No. KL-14-H-3010 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-1359. As a result Avinash (18) R/o Kallapu Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 01/12/2009 at 1730 hrs NH 17 at Kallapu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one Muneer driver of Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4151 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Jamal @ Jamaludeen (20) R/o Bajal Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.

On 01/12/2009 at 1700 hrs at Tharikambla Busstand Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk one Prajesh driver of Indigo car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3772 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-0420. as a result Vincent Lancy (21) R/o Bikarnakatte Mangalore motorcycle rider and Suraj pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 01/12/2009 at 2130 hrs accused Sharath, Divakara, Santha and 08 other persons forming into unlawful assembly and criminally trespassed into the premises of house belonging to one John D’ Souza (38) R/o Basava nagar Kunjathbail village Mangalore Taluk and abused him and his wife Bharathi D’souza and his mother Emilda D Souza her in filthy language and outraged modesty by pulling their dress and also assaulted them by hand owing to trivial issue.

- A case under causing death due to negligence has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station on the complaint of one Naveen Menezes (32) R/o Narikomba village Bantwal Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that his wife one Celestine Laveen Menezes who was admitted to the Somayaji hospital at B.C. road Bantwal Taluk for treatment was died on 01/12/2009 at 1000 hrs due to the negligence of Dr. Maya Prabhu and staff of Somayaji Hospital.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station where in the dead body of Kavitha (14) R/o Sullia Town has been found in the river at Pilikody village Sullia Taluk on 01/12/2009. The said Kavitha (14) was reported missing from Sullia PS since 29/11/2009 at 1200 hrs and in this connection a case of Girl missing was already registered at Sullia PS. The death seems to be due drowning.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. One Vishwanatha Bhandary (60) R/o Narikombu village Bantwal Taluk left his house on 24/11/2009 at 2230 and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
