- A case under Cruelty by Husband and his relatives, Criminal intimidation along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Women Police Station on the complaint of one Nusiba W/o Ummar Farooq R/o Pandeshwara Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Ummer Farooq (husband) and his relatives Abdul Haji, Amina Abdul, Ismail, Sharif Ummer and Bushra gave physical and mental harassment to Nusiba to bring more dowry and also gave life threat to her.

On 31/10/2007 at 1730 hrs accused one Abbas R/o Kairangala village Bantwal Taluk criminally restrained one Bhagyalakshmi (41) W/o Subramanya R/o Motugoli Kairangala village Bantwal Taluk near her house and outraged her modesty by pulling her hand and also assaulted her by hand. The motive seems to be the civil dispute between two.
- A case under Criminal trespass along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 30/10/2007 at 1730 hrs accused Abdhul Rahiman @ Disco Monu, Razak and Jamal criminally trespassed into the land belonging one Mose Kunchi (41) R/o Betha Mithanadka Karopady village Bantwal Taluk and abused his wife in filthy language and also gave life threat to her. The motive seems to be that one Mosa Kunchi had earlier lodged a complaint against accused persons in Vittal Police Station.

On 29/10/2007 at 0800 hrs on Belthangady-Guruvayanakare road at Santhekatte Belthangady Town one rider of Bajaj M-80 motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-L-4683 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rosi Lasrado (42) R/o Punjalakatte Maladi village Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 30/10/2007 at 1700 hrs at Narimogaru Mundoor village Puttur Taluk one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-6651 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Zenath (08) a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 01/11/2007 at 1215 hrs at Meeting Point Bar & Restaurant at Deralakatte Belma village Mangalore Taluk accused Sudhakara, Santhosha and Chethan all workers of said Bar and Restaurant abused one Abdul Khader (34) R/o Deralakatte Belma village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and also assaulted him by cool drink bottle. Motive seems to be dispute over payment bill amount.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 31/10/2007 at 2330 hrs one Lakshman (31) R/o Manjushrinagara Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison in his room at Sharavathi lodge at Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk owing to health problem. Further he was admitted to Govt. hospital at Belthangady where he declared dead while under treatment on 01/11/2007 at 0025 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 30/10/2007 at 2015 hrs and 01/11/2007 at 2315 hrs one Ramesh aged about 35 yrs to 40 yrs R/o Thirthahalli Shimoga District committed suicide by hanging in his room at Janatha Lodge Gandhinagara Sullia Town owing to personal problem.
