On 08/11/2007 at 1845 hrs near Ballalbhag junction at Mangalore one unknown motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mallappa R/o Kushtagi Taluk Koppala District a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

No. KA-38-N-9099 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sumalatha (06) a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

No. KA-21-M-4051 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle and dashed against a tree. As a result Amaresha (24) driver of Mauti car, Shantharama Rai (50) R/o Kemminje village Puttur Taluk, Hamsaveni (49) and Jagadish who were traveling in the said Maruti car sustained grievous injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. In between 07/11/2007 at 1930 hrs and 08/11/2007 at 0230 hrs one Rama Moolya (56) R/o Kattathila Kolnadu village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by consuming pesticide near his house owing to financial problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 07/11/2007 at 1500 hrs Yajnesh (02) R/o Andralike Chenaithody village Bantwal Taluk and his sister Divya (04) sustained serious burn injuries while playing near their house. Further they were admitted to Fr. Muller Hospital where in one Yejnesh declared dead while under treatment.
