• A case under Burglary has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. In between 02/11/2007 at 1030 hrs to 1130 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Padmanabha (48) R/o Prashanthanagara Derebail Mangalore by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and a wrist watch all in worth Rs. 61,400/.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 03/11/2007 at 0645 hrs near Bus Stand at Sulkeri village Belthangady Taluk one Shivappa driver of Tavera car bearing Reg. No. KA-25-N-7225 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Narayana Poojary (38) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries and died on the way to the hospital.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Puttur Town Police Station. On 02/11/2007 at 0915 hrs at Padil Puttur Town one Abdul Bhasheer (13) R/o Thekkaru Village Belthangady Taluk passenger of the K.S.R.T.C bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2448 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.

On 02/11/2007 at 1000 hrs accused one Sadananda Madivala criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Lokayya Naik (60) R/o Nidigal Kalmanja village Belthangady Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave the life thereat to him owing to trivial issue.
