• A case of Burglary has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 11/11/2007 in between 1745 hrs and 1930 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Mulki Vinod Rao R/o Gandhi Nagara Mangalore by breaking the back door and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 58,000/ all in worth Rs. 5,78,000/.
  
• A case of Burglary has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. In between 10/11/2007 at 1230 hrs and 11/11/2007 at 1000 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry gain into the house belonging to one Sumathi Poojarthi (40) R/o Modayikadu Beluvayai village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 5,000/ all in worth Rs. 24,000/.
  
• A case of Burglary has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 08/11/2007 and 11/11/2007 at 0820 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry gain into the Newlife Church at Bantwal Town by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of Sound box, Microphone and other musical instruments all in worth Rs. 15,000/.

• A case under Attempt to commit theft has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 11/11/2007 at 1500 hrs accused Hasanabba G.K. (40) R/o Thenkamijar, Abdul Rahiman (40) R/o Thenkamijar, Sirajuddin (26) R/o Hosabettu Mangalore, Nowshad (28) R/o Thodar, Imran (19) R/o Chikkodi Beluru and Nazir M.A. R/o Thenkamijar Mangalore came in a Fiat car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-7194 with gas cutter and other implements and attempted to commit theft of a Eicher Lorry that was parked at Puddarpalke Padangady village Belthangady Taluk belonging to one Ashok Govious (37). The above Six persons who were arrested by PSI Belthanagady PSl PS who was on night patrolling duty. The Fiat car and other implements however been seized by the police.

• A case under outranging the Modesty of women along with insulting with intent to provoke breach of the peace has been registered in the Bantwal Rural Police. On 11/11/2007 at 1730 hrs accused Dinesha abused one Mohini (16) R/o Mithakundaje Kadeshivalaya village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language near her house and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Mangalore North Police Station. On 11/11/2007 at 0830 hrs at Kudroli Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-9787 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rayeel (09) a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 11/11/2007 at 0645 hrs in front of Kadri Service Station at Kadri Kambala Mangalore one Devu driver of Ape goods rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9462 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which Ape goods rickshaw capsized. As a result one Girisha (23) R/o Kundapura Udupi District who was traveling in the said goods rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 10/11/2007 at 1545 hrs at Pakshikere Kemral village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7873 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-655. As a result Jagadish Acharya rider of motorcycle and Ramanatha Acharya (42) R/o Koikude village Mangalore Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 12/11/2007 at 0810 hrs on Belthangady-Guruvayanakere Road at Belthangady Town one Harishchandra rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-8091 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Victor Moras (68) R/o Belthangady Town a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result Harishchandra motorcycle rider and Subhashchandra pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Rioting along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 10/11/2007 at 1100 hrs in front of Sharadha Bhajana Mandira at Sajipa Munnur village Bantwal Taluk accused Padmanabha Kottari, Ramakrishan Kottari, Vishwanatha Kottari, Keshava Kottari, Surendra, Harisha and Ashok forming into an unlawful assembly and assaulted Ganesh Bhandary (32) R/o Sajipa Munnur village Bantwal Taluk, Pavan Belchada, Yashodara, Nithin and Thimappa by hand and with wooden stick and stone. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 10/11/2007 at 2030 hrs accused one Jeevan criminally restrained one Yusuf R/o Kudroli Mangalore at Mission Street Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 11/11/2007 at 1400 hrs at Peralla Marodi village Belthangady Taluk accused Sathish Hegde, Dinesh Hegde, Ashok and Nagesh abused one Darnappa Poojary (35) R/o Karndadka Marodi village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand. They also assaulted one Prashanth Jain by hand who came to help Darnappa Poojary owing to civil dispute.

• A case under Criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 12/11/2007 at 0630 hrs accused Neelappa and his wife, Bellyappa and his wife prevented Chennappa N. Forest Guard, Nalkooru Subramanya Sullia Taluk and his staff by pushing them and also gave life threat to them while they were on duty at Kamiala Guttigaru village Sullia Taluk.

• A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 11/11/2007 at 2015 hrs on credible information PSI Belthangady PS along with staff conducted a raid at Koyyur village Belthangady Taluk and seized 32 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) value of Rs. 960/ . However accused one Dejappa Gowda (50) R/o Koyyur village Belthangady Taluk managed to escape from the scene.
  
• A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 11/11/2007 at 1930 hrs on credible information PSI Venoor PS along with staff conducted a raid at Kujumbe Kashipatna village Belthangady Taluk and seized 11 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) value of Rs. 350/.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 10/11/1007 at 1700 hrs one Neelayya Poojary (60) R/o Majalagadde Sravya village Belthangady Taluk attempted to committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem. He was admitted to Govt. hospital at Karkala where he declared dead while under treatment on 10/11/2007 at 1910 hrs.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered Belthangady Police Station. On 10/11/2007 at 1630 hrs one Bharath (22) accidentally slipped into the Nidigal river at Kalmanja village Belthangady Taluk while taking bath and died due drowning.
