- A case under Dacoity, Criminal trespass along with Arms act has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 09/06/2007 at 2115 hrs about to 8 to 10 unknown culprits barged into the M/s Suresh Vasudeva Baliga Jewellers at Bantwal Town by busting a crude explosive and firing in the air with a revolver to threaten the inmates. Further they assaulted the inmates and took away gold jewellery kept in the showcases and cash all in worth Rs 65,00,000/. No arrests made.

- A case of Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 08/06/2007 at night some unknown culprits gained entry into the premise of one Dr. Shantharaj Chandrahas Shetty (28) R/o Kutthar Padavu Munnur village Mangalore Taluk and committed theft of Poineer stereo system from his car which was parked there. The stolen property is worth Rs 10,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 09/06/2007 at 1615 hrs on NH 48 at Gandhi park Uppinangady village one Rajendra rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-7202 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Seethrama Shetty (55) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries who died on the spot. Further the motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Yogindra pillion rider of said motorcycle also sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 22/05/2007 at 1900 hrs at Alake Mangalore one Suresh Achary driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-003 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Dio scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-6628. As a result scooter rider one Kishore (46) R/o Adarash nagar Chilimbi hills Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 09/06/2007 at 0530 hrs near Mangala nursing home Mangalore one Hoovayya rider of scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-7986 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which scooter capsized. As a result scooter rider Hoovayya sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 09/06/2007 at 1600 hrs at Kutthar Munnur village Mangalore Taluk one Rajendra driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AD-2345 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-8018. As a result motorcycle rider one Louis D’Souza (32) R/o Amblamogaru village Mangalore Taluk and pillion rider of said motorcycle Sachin sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 07/06/2007 at 0900 hrs at Badyaru Padangady village Belthangady Taluk one Abubakkar driver of 407 Goods Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-9157 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Royston Vegas (08) S/o Monty Moras R/o Badyaru Padangady village Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 09/06/2007 at 0430 hrs at Addahole Shiradi village Puttur Taluk one driver of a Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-13-8845 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost his control over the vehicle due the lorry capsized and dashed against a Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-05-P-1941 driven by one Cyril Vegas (48) R/o Vittal Mudnur village. As a result the jeep got damaged. No casualties reported.

- A case under Seizure of Stolen property has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 09/06/2007 at 0610 hrs on credible information PSI Panambur PS along with staff intercepted a Chevrolet Tavera car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7280 at Baikampady Mangalore and seized 04 grease tins (372 kgs), 86 ball bearings and 13 wall stoppers (10 kgs) being transported illegally by arresting two persons Ali Ahammad (34) R/o Janatha colony Idya village Mangalore Taluk and Iqbal (26) R/o Janatha colony Idya village Mangalore Taluk. The car has also been seized. The total value of property seized yet to be estimated.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 09/06/2007 at 1800 hrs one Dr. Ravi Kumar. H (40) R/o Vivek nagar Bangalore accidentally slipped into the Arabian sea near Ullal Mangalore Taluk while taking bath and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 07/06/2007 at 0830 hrs one Lavappa Gowda (45) R/o Derane Siribagilu village Puttur Taluk accidentally fell down from the coconut tree while removing coconut and got seriously injured. Further he was admitted to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on 09/06/2007 at 1600 hrs.

- A case of Woman and Child missing has been registered in Barke Police Station. One Renu (34) w/o Gajendra. V R/o Divyadeepa apartment Bejai Mangalore left her house with her son Rohan (08) on 03/04/2007 at 1830 hrs and did not return to her house there after. They have been found missing since then.
- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. One Shafique M.A (16) S/o Alavi Kutti.M.A R/o Koinadu Sampaje village Madikeri Taluk left his house on 02/06/2007 and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. One Mohammad Sharif (15) S/o Hamsa. P (42) R/o Porkala Putthila village Belthangady Taluk left his house on 31/05/2007 at 1500 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
