Ordinary Theft: 01

• A case under Servant theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 25/06/2007 at 1330 hrs one Parveen Begum (20) R/o Ganga nagar Harihar Davangere district who was working as a housemaid in the house of one Sarfraz (25) R/o Kankanady Mangalore committed theft of gold ornaments and mobile phone and cash from the Almera of the same house. The stolen property is worth Rs. 5000/.

Motor Vehicle Theft: 01

• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 24/06/2007 in between at 1930 hrs and 2000 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-2320 belonging to one Manoharanath (36) R/o Muduperara Mangalore Taluk that was parked in front of Kankanady restaurant Mangalore. The car is worth Rs. 45,000/.

Fatal: 01

• A case of Fatal road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 29/06/2007 at 1430 hrs on NH 17 at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk one Lakshman Kumar driver of LPG Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-01-AA-4800 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-2153. As a result motorcycle rider one Mahesh Kumar (40) R/o Idya village Surathkal Mangalore Taluk sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 28/06/2007 at 2115 hrs at Falnir Mangalore one driver of Ambassador car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5887 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-751. As a result scooter rider one Mohammad Ajmal Bhaksh (52) R/o Bendoorwell Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 28/06/2007 at 0945 hrs at Kumpala Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one rider of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2087 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Nishitha (07) D/o Vasudeva R/o Kumpala Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

• A case under House trespass, Hurt, Mischief of causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 28/06/2007 at 1730 hrs accused Sandeep Shetty criminally trespassed into the shop at Volapete Permannur village Mangalore belonging to one Hemachandra (52) R/o Someshwara village Mangalore and abused him and his wife in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and damaged shop by breaking the glass and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue. The damage caused is about Rs. 500/.


• A case under Hurt along Wrongful confinement has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 29/06/2007 at 1745 hrs at KSRTC bus stand Puttur Town accused Shiva Kumar, Shantharama and Chandra Mohan wrongfully confines Somanatha (34) R/o Bramha nagar Puttur Town and Babu and assaulted them with iron rod owing to trivial issue.
  
• A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 29/06/2007 at 1745 hrs accused 3 to 4 persons criminally restrained a bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-9099 and abused Kushalapppa a Traffic controller of KSRTC Puttur Division, Chandrashekar conductor of the bus, Honnappa driver of the bus, Shantharama and Shiva Kumar in filthy language and also assaulted them by hand owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 29/06/2007 at 2215 hrs one Nandini (23) R/o Kasthurba nagar Bangalore committed suicide by hanging in her house at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk owing to personal problem.


• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 29/04/2007 at 0930 hrs one Kamala (65) R/o Ramarapalu Netlamudnur village Bantwal Taluk while working at Ramarapalu Netlamudnur village Bantwal Taluk accidentally touched the electric wire due which she got electrocuted and died.
  
• A case of Unnatural death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. In between 28/06/2007 at 1600 hrs and 29/06/2007 at 0800 one Balakrishna Rai (37) R/o Surabail Panaje village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by jumping into a pond near his house owing to health problem.

Missing Persons: 02

• A case of Man missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. One Basavaraju (19) R/o Mangalapete Bala village Mangalore Taluk who left his house on 29/06/2007 at 1330 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been missing since then.


• A case of Man missing has been registered in Bantwal Police Station. One Kunhiappa Naik (80) R/o Koppalakodi Narikombu village Bantwal Taluk left his house on 22/06/2007 at 0600 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
