- A case of Attempt to commit Robbery has been registered in Surathkal Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 11/06/2007 at 1615 hrs near Fathima Church Bala village Mangalore Taluk one Chandralekha R/o Krishanapura Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk was on her way to home by walk. At that time one Ramachandra (21) R/o Adhavatthuru village Shreeranga Taluk Thiruchi Mavatte district approached her and attempted to snatch the gold chain from her neck. While accused was trying to escape from the place he was caught by the public and handed over to the Surathkal PS.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 11/06/2007 at 1045 hrs in front of Canara ATM point M.G. Road Mangalore one Vishwa driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-18-D-1777 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Shree Ganesh (36) R/o Pattayibettu Meramajalu village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 11/06/2007 at 0800 hrs on NH 17 at Bangra Kulur Mangalore one Prasanna driver of a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MF-5889 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-9578. As a result motorcycle rider one Shyam Prasad (28) R/o Kulai Surathkal Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulky Police Station. On 11/06/2007 at 1845 hrs at Kenchanakere Kilpady village one Vittala driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6821 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-3096. As a result motorcycle rider Arif (22) R/o Lingapayakadu Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk and pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 11/06/2007 at 1845 hrs at Alape Padil Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-14-6936 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-2132. As a result Balaji K. Shahapurkar (37) R/o Azadnagar Haveri district driver of said KSRTC bus, Oswald, Saroja, Priya and other passengers of both the buses sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 10/06/2007 at 2230 hrs at Pelathakatte Sajipa village Bantwal Taluk one Majeed driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8812 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7150. As a result driver of said auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7150 Mohmmad Haris (21) R/o Moidin nagar Sajipa Bantwal Taluk, Ibrahim, Rizwan and Iqbal who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 04/06/2007 at 1430 hrs near State Bank at Mangalore accused one Seetharama abused one Ananda S. in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity.
- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 11/06/2007 at 2030 hrs accused Rafique R/o Kumpanamajalu Bantwal Taluk abused one Mohammed Shabeer R/o Pudu village Bantwal Taluk near his house in filthy language and assaulted him with knife owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. One Pradeep S (16) S/o Siddalingappa C M. R/o LIG Nagar Mysore District who came to Dharmasthala Temple Belthangady Taluk on 09/06/2007 and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
