Crime against Women: 01

• A case under Procuration of minor girl, Rape, Wrongful confinement along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 10/05/2007 and 25/05/2007 accused one Guruswami student of KVG Medical College Sullia Taluk procured a minor girl R/o Vikasipura Wipro layout Bangalore and forcibly raped her. Further Guruswami kidnapped her and wrongfully confined her at Sullia Taluk and also gave life threat to her.

Fatal: 01

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 27/06/2007 at 1950 hrs at Kemmayi Chikkamudnur village Puttur Taluk one Rukmayya Poojary driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-B-298 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Puttanna Gowda (25) R/o Badakodi village Puttur Taluk sustained serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 26/06/2007 at 1530 hrs at Service busstand Mangalore one Abbas R/o Ammemar Farangipete Bantwal Taluk a passenger of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AA-4599 while getting into the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 26/06/2007 at 1915 hrs at Nandigudde Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AE-9905 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-1638. As a result Harish driver of car and Pushparaj (27) R/o Attavara Mangalore who was traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 27/06/2007 at 0845 hrs on NH 17 at Thokkottu Mangalore Taluk one Prem Kumar driver of a Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4769 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-4777, which was parked at roadside. As a result Prem Kumar sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 26/06/2007 at 1530 hrs at Aladangadi Badagakarandur village Belthangady Taluk one Lokesh driver of an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8634 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Premalatha (30) R/o Kalyakere Belthangady Taluk and Dhamu Naik who were traveling in the auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

Cheating/ Criminal Breach of Trust: 01

• A case under Criminal breach of trust by servant has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station on the complaint of Dr. Suresh Managing Director Omega Hospital Pvt. Ltd Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Jose. C. K R/o Gulmohar apartments Falnir Mangalore who was working as security guard in the said hospital and committed criminal breach of trust to the hospital by stealing hospital documents and cheated the hospital.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 27/06/2007 at 0800 hrs accused Prakash and another person criminally restrained one Bhodhi. M.R. R/o Kodialbail Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 27/06/2007 in between 1210 hrs and 1230 hrs one Yogisha (35) R/o Meenakaliya Panambur Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in house owing to financial problem.

Missing Persons: 02

• A case of Woman missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. One Silva Mary (25) R/o Nagapatna Aletti village Sullia Taluk left her house on 26/06/2007 at 1500 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
  
• A case of Boys missing has been registered in Konaje Police Station. Mohammad Rafique (15) and Mohammad Munaf (14) left from Yatheemkana at Manjanady Bantwal Taluk on 23/06/2007 at 1200 hrs and did not return to Yatheemkana there after. They have been found missing since then.
