  • A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 16/06/2007 at 1530 hrs accused Ravi and Sundara Gowda abused one Janaki (33) W/o Sanjeeva Gowda R/o Mogru village Puttur Taluk in filthy language and assaulted her with sickle and with wooden stick owing to civil dispute.
  • A case under Cruelty by Husband and his relatives along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Ullal Police Station on the complaint of one Prajna Ammembala (29) R/o Hosapete Bellary district. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Dr. Koteshwara. S. Muralidhara (husband) and his relatives Sathynarayana Hathwara. K, Bharathi, Mamatha Ravindra and Gururaj Hathwara all residents of Hosapete Bellary gave physical and mental harassment to Prajna Ammembala to bring more dowry and he also assaulted her by hand on 17/07/2005.

  • A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station where in one Sebestian John (48) R/o Kajepadau Kolambe village Mangalore Taluk was declared dead while under treatment on 17/06/2007 at 1840 hrs. The said Sebestian John was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 07/05/2007 at 2100 hrs at Malali cross Badagulipadi Mangalore Taluk and admitted to the Hospital. In this connection a case has already been registered in Bajpe Police Station.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 08/06/2007 at 1730 hrs at Ashoknagar Mangalore one rider of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-1564 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Vinod (09) S/o Sidhappa R/o Hoigebailu Ashoknagar Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 16/06/2007 at 1430 hrs near Shell petrol pump at Chilimbi Mangalore one driver of bus bearing a Reg. No. KA-19-AA-4577 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Basamma (53) and her daughter Sangamma the pedestrians and caused them grievous injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 17/06/2007 at 0830 hrs at Lalbagh Mangalore one Vittal driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-7901 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda City car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MN-5340 driven by one Dr. Bharatraj (37) R/o Venus Myanar Mangalore. As a result auto rickshaw driver Vittal sustained simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 16/06/2007 at 1530 hrs at Valencia circle Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-399 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Activa Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-356. As a result scooter rider one Ibrahim Muzamil (19) R/o Jeppu Kudpadi Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 15/06/2007 at 1100 hrs near Nagana katte Railway colony Mangalore one driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7783 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost his control over the vehicle due auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Ashritha D/o Venugopal R/o Railway quarters passenger of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 17/06/2007 at 1600 hrs at Perlampadi Kolthige village Puttur Taluk one Kusha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-8405 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Kuccha (60) R/o Perlampadi Kolthige village Puttur Taluk and caused her simple injuries.

Spl. And local laws: 01

  • A case under Indian Arms Act has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 18/06/2007 at 0820 hrs on credible information CPI Belthangady Circle along with PSI Venoor and his staff conducted a raid on the pump shed belonging to one Acchan Kunhi R/o Sulkeri Heraje Farm Sulkeri village Belthangady Taluk and seized a Local Made Gun (SBML) that was kept illegally. No arrest made.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 12/06/2007 at 0230 hrs one Ibrahim Bava R/o Abbas Haji compound Bandar Mangalore sustained serious burn injuries while he was trying to light a kerosene lamp in his house. Further he was admitted to the Father Mullers hospital Mangalore and there while under treatment he succumbed to his injuries on 17/06/2007 at 1000 hrs.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 17/06/2007 at 0700 hrs one Ithappa (65) R/o Nandanapura Kavoor village Mangalore sustained serious burn injuries while he was trying to light a kerosene lamp in his house. Further he was admitted to the Wenlock hospital Mangalore and there while under treatment he succumbed to his injuries on the same day at 1455 hrs.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 18/06/2007 at 0200 hrs one Varija (20) R/o Jumadipal Sajipamunnur village Bantwal Taluk died at Father Mullers hospital while under treatment. Cause of death is still to be ascertained.

Missing Persons: 01

  • A case of Girl missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 15/06/207 one Bhavya (15) D/o Vedhavathi R/o Aletti village Sullia Taluk went to high school at Aletti Sullia Taluk and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
