On the intervening night of 19-20/06/2007 in the premise of Yenapoya Moidin Kunhi Memorial Education and Charitable Trust at Jappinamogru village Mangalore Taluk some unknown culprits committed theft of L.T cables (360 meters) belonging to Rakesh Kumar. B (35) R/o Bikarnakatte Mangalore Taluk. The total worth of stolen property is Rs. 2,55,715/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 25/06/2007 at 1720 hrs near Jyothi Circle Mangalore one Prasad driver of a bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-AB-5678 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-2889. As a result motorcycle rider one Devaraj (38) R/o Babugudde Attavar Mangalore and pillion rider Gopalakrishna sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 26/06/2007 at 1900 hrs near Lady Goshan hospital Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-14-D-6399 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MD-2286 driven by Hussain Kutti. P.K. As a result car got damaged. No casualties reported. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 25/06/2007 at 1650 hrs near Kulshekar church Mangalore one Zarina Abraham (15) D/o Abraham Mathew R/o Tharethota Mangalore a passenger of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7818 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which she fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 25/06/2007 at 1200 hrs near Karnataka Bank Pumpwell Mangalore one driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-52-H-443 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Lorry bearing Reg. NO. KA-21-7337. As a result Sundara Gowda. M (35) R/o Kokkada Belthangady Taluk driver of lorry and Shashidhara conductor of the lorry sustained simple injuries. The Tanker driver escaped from the place leaving his vehicle.

No. KA-19-K-649 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-1542. As a result driver of auto rickshaw Mohammad. K (34) R/o Moodushedde Mangalore sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-19-MM-8987 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Shamira (08) D/o Shekabba R/o Maruru village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

On 24/06/2007 at 1500 hrs accused Vasantha and Praveen Lasrado came in a motorcycle and criminally restrained an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2932 belonging to one Sundara (35) R/o Neharu nagar Kabaka village Puttur Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.
  
• A case under Hurt along with Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 26/06/2007 at 0630 hrs accused Purushothama abused one Kutyappa. Y (32) R/o Kallagundi Sampaje village Sullia Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with sickle and assaulted his wife Lalitha who came to help him and also gave life threat to them owing to civil dispute.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. In between 25/06/2007 and 26/06/2007 at 0700 hrs one Shree Harsha (20) R/o Bakimaru Karkala Taluk committed suicide by jumping into a well near Neharu nagar Kabaka village Puttur Taluk owing to personal problem.
