- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 02/06/2007 in between at 1400 hrs and 2000 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Yamaha motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-7322 belonging to one Kote Prasad Alva (57) R/o Kodiyal Guttu Kodiyalbail Mangalore that was parked near his house. The motorcycle is wroth Rs. 20,000/.

- A case under Cruelty by Husband and his relatives along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Women Police Station on the complaint of one Kavitha D. Rao R/o Port Road Kasaragod district. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Naveen Kumar (husband) and his relatives Shyamala Devi and Dhanavathi B. all residents of Shediguri Mangalore gave physical and mental harassment to Kavitha D. Rao to bring more dowry and he also assaulted her by hand on 18/05/2007.
- A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 01/04/2007 at 2200 hrs accused Abbu @ Ismail abused his wife one Ramlatha (33) in filthy language and assaulted her by hand and with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 22/05/2007 at 1130 hrs on GHS road at Mangalore one unknown driver of Auto Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9363 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sathyanarayana S.K. (56) R/o Katipalla Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The Auto Tempo driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 02/06/2007 at 1845 hrs at Konchadi Kavoor village Mangalore one Sathish Shetty driver of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-6059 drove his vehicle in a negligent manner and dashed against one Sumana Pai R/o Mannagudde Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 03/06/2007 at 1245 hrs at Addahole Shiradi village Puttur Taluk one Manjunatha driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-31-3215 drove his vehicle in a negligent manner and dashed against a KSRTC Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-1902 driven by one Narayana N from behind. Due which KSRTC Bus driver lost control over his vehicle and rammed to a Maruti car and a Lorry from the front. As a result all three vehicles got damaged.

- A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 03/06/2007 at 1300 hrs accused Simon D’Souza, Lilly D’Souza, Sisiliya, Gilbert D’Souza, Naveen D’Souza and Anil D’Souza forming into an unlawful assembly at Beedipake Navoor village Bantwal Taluk abused Sunitha P. Nayak (47) R/o Beedipake Navoor village Bantwal Taluk and her husband Prakash P. Nayak in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with sickle. They also assaulted Rithesh Shetty with sickle who came to help Sunitha and her husband. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.
- A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 03/06/2007 at 1230 hrs accused Prakash Nayak, Vishwanatha Nayak, Sunitha Nayak, Rithesh Shetty and other forming into an unlawful assembly at Beedipake Navoor village Bantwal Taluk and assaulted Saiman D’Souza and Lilli D’Souza by hand with sickle. They also assaulted Anil D’Souza R/o Beedipalke Navoor village Bantwal Taluk with sickle who came to help Simon D’Souza and Lilly D’Souza. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.

In between 02/06/2007 and 03/06/2007 at 1800 hrs one unknown male aged about 28 yrs 30 yrs committed suicide by hanging in his room at Godhavari Lodge Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. In between 03/06/2007 at 2200 hrs and 04/06/2007 at 0800 hrs one Seenappa Poojary (65) R/o Kulavu Kukkipady village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.
