- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with along with SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 28/05/2007 at 1300 hrs at Mavinakatte Noojibalthila village Puttur Taluk accused Shekara Gowda and Sundara Gowda abused a 23 yr woman R/o Noojibalthila village Puttur Taluk in filthy language referring to her caste. The motive seems to be that the woman had earlier lodged a complaint against the accused.

No. KA-19-C-9638 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1768. As a result auto rickshaw driver one Jayarama Naik (65) R/o Mullakadu Kavoor Mangalore sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 10/06/2007 at 0500 hrs on NH 17 at Kotekar Mangalore one Donald D’ souza driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KL-14-F-7863 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a lorry bearing Reg. No. MH-12-Q-4126, which was, parked roadside. As a result one Rajan (32) R/o Adkathbail Kasaragod district Kerala state who was inside the said lorry sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-AD-1944 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and and applied break suddenly due which one Devappa Naik (80) R/o Morgansgate Kankanady Mangalore a passenger of said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained simple injuries.

No. KL-14-B-4731 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-8905. As a result driver of said car Girish.K (33) R/o Shivalli village Udupi district and his father Ishwar sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 09/06/2007 at 1845 hrs at Arala Kunalu village Puttur Taluk one Kushalappa driver of a Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-759 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-01-7768 driven by one Lakshmikantha (35). As a result both the vehicles got damaged. No casualties reported.

On 10/06/2007 at 1445 hrs on NH 48 Nelyadi village Puttur Taluk one Benny driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8365 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost his control over the vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result Vipin Jose (28) R/o Kokkada village Puttur Taluk and Joje who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
