• A case Ordinary theft has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 29/06/2007 at 1900 hrs and 30/06/2007 at 0600 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of 33 Gas cylinders that was kept in the Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5877 which was parked at roadside near Katla Idya village Mangalore Taluk. The stolen property is worth Rs. 66,429/.

• A case under Cruelty by Husband, Dowry death along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Surathkal Police Station on the complaint of one Raveendra. R R/o Mysore road Bangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Ranganath R (Husband) gave physical and mental harassment to his wife Nandini D/o Raveendra. R R/o Mysore road Bangalore to bring more dowry and he also killed her on 29/06/2007 at 2215 hrs in his house at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 30/06/2007 at 1700 hrs at Mitthur Idkidu village Bantwal Taluk one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-1222 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Koragappa Gowda (60) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries due which he died on the spot. The Bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle from the spot.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 30/06/2007 at 1330 hrs near Azad hardware at Azizuddin road Mangalore one rider of Honda Activa Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-5449 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rafique (25) R/o Bengre Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The scooter rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 30/06/2007 at 1810 hrs near Circuit house Mangalore one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5651 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-4023. As a result motorcycle rider one Shiva Kumar S (35) R/o Urwastores Mangalore sustained simple injuries. The motorcycle also got damaged. The Bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 28/06/2007 at 0945 hrs at Thokkottu junction Mangalore Taluk oneb Syril Stevan driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-9320 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2765. As a result auto rickshaw driver Padmanabha Nayak (44) R/o T.C road Ullal village Mangalore Taluk and Hameed a passenger of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 29/06/2007 at 1640 hrs at Kalkatta Mosque Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk one Hasainar driver of an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2467 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Jalajakshi (40) R/o Kairangala village Bantwal Taluk, Sharada (35) and Swaroopraj (10) passengers of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal road accident has en registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 30/06/2007 at 0630 hrs on NH 48 at Maripalla Pudu village Bantwal Taluk one Prashanth driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2963 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an unknown pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 30/06/2007 at 1640 hrs at Polya Kabaka village Puttur Taluk one Abdul Khader driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7738 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-8822. As a result Car driver Ramachandra, Gautham. B. K (23) R/o Hosanagar Shimoga district, Venkatesh Shasthri and Raghavendra Madhyastha who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.

On 30/06/2007 at 0900 hrs near school at Bellippady village Puttur Taluk accused Gangadhara Gowda R/o Bellippady village Puttur Taluk abused one Sheenappa Poojary. K (58) R/o Bellippady village Puttur Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with sickle and also gave life threat to him owing to financial issue.
  
• A case under Hurt along with Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 30/06/2007 at 1800 hrs at Nellingeri Andinje Belthangady Taluk accused Karia Shetty and two others abused one Jaganatha Shetty (34) R/o Karnodi Laila village Belthangady Taluk and his father Jaya Shetty in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with stone owing to trivial issue.
