• A case under Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 20/07/2007 at 2200 hrs and 21/07/2007 at 0600 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of Two Meg wheels along with Disk break from a Bajaj Discover motorcycle belonging to one Sadashiva (44) R/o Bridge Road Balmatta Mangalore that was parked in front of his house. The stolen property is worth Rs. 11,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 21/07/2007 at 1230 hrs at Sharavu cross Mangalore one Somanatha driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6483 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and without giving any signal turned his vehicle to right side and dashed against the Maruti Swift car bearing Reg. No.KA-19-P-6903 driven by one Ambu T.V. (66) R/o Asaigoli Konaje Mangalore. As a result Maruti car got damaged. No causualities reported.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 21/07/2007 at 1400 hrs near State Bank Circle at Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. AP-37-Y-1444 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-3337. As a result one Krishna Naik R/o Saripalla Neerumarga Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 21/07/2007 at 2043 hrs on NH 17 at Kallapu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Maruti Alto car bearing Reg. No. KL-60-5969 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bus bearing Reg. No.KA-20-C-7555. As a result driver of car and others who were traveling in the said car sustained simple injures and both the vehicles got damaged.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 21/07/2007 at 1230 hrs at Vittal Town Bantwal Taluk one Deepak rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-5706 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed one Kunhanna Gowda (45) R/o Kula village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 21/07/2007 at 1630 hrs at Kalleri Dharmasthala Belthangady Taluk one Srinivas Kamath rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-324 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed one Ravishankar (40) a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Srinivas Kamath rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Criminal force to deter public servant form discharge of his duty along with Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 21/07/2007 at 1045 hrs at Town compound Bibi Alabi Road Mangalore accused Ashraf (23) R/o Batkal Bazar Mangalore, Ibrahim (42), Asif (23) and M.S. Bhava (33) all residents of Bibi Alabi Road Mangalore abused one Kamalaksha (30) employee of MESCOM in filthy language while he was on duty.
  
• A case under Hurt has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 20/07/2007 at 1900 hrs near bus stand at Amanabettu Moodumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk accused Sathisha Shetty, Ravindra, Santhaosh, Jayanth and others abused one Rajesh (33) R/o Moodumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity.
  
• A case under House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 16/07/2007 at 2100 hrs accused Suresha and Subhath all residents of Gundya Shiradi village criminally trespassed into the Hotel at Gundya Shiradi village and abused one Josh (33) R/o Shibaje village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surthakal Police Station where in the dead body one Sadashivam M. (21) R/o Selam Tamilu Nadu was found on 22/07/2007 at 0830 hrs near seashore Hosabettu Mangalore Taluk. The said Sadashivam was accidentally sliped into the sea at seashore at Panambur and reported missing since 18/07/2007 and in this connection a case of Man missing was already registered at Panambur PS. The death seems to be due drowning.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Boy missing has been registered in Panambur Police Station. One Novel D’Souza (14) R/o Thanneerubavi Panambur Mangalore left his on the evening of 07/07/2007 and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
