Robbery: 01

• A case under Robbery has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 27/07/2007 at 0900 hrs one unknown person entered into the house belonging to one Nanda w/o Bhoja Sapalya R/o Sai Sadana Kuriyala village Bantwal Taluk and robbed gold ornaments and cash Rs. 10,500/ all in worth Rs. 1,70,000/ by assaulting Nanda and her relatives with knife and escaped from the place.

Burglary: 01

• A case of Burglary has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 25/07/2007 at 2000 hrs and 26/07/2007 at 0530 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Infant Jesus Church at Modankapu Bantwal Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of Gold and Copper articles and also cash of Rs. 2,000/. The stolen property is worth Rs.14, 000/.

• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On the night of 23/07/2007 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-1467 belonging to one Abdul Lathif (30) R/o Guravayankere Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk that was parked near his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 25,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 25/07/2007 at 1930 hrs at Shivabagh Kadri Mangalore one unknown driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-25-M-1294 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-5572. As a result Honda Activa scooter rider Shabeer R/o Shivabagh Kadri Mangalore and pillion rider his daughter Seema sustained simple injuries. The Maruti car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 26/06/2007 at 1700 hrs at Bejai Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-5516 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-963 driven by one Lenet Cutinho (44) R/o Matadakani Ashoknagar Mangalore. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulky Police Station. On 26/078/2007 at 0915 hrs at Kinnigoli Talipadi village Mangalore Taluk one Imran rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2800 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bajaj M80 Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-9272. As a result Louis Cutinho (58) rider of Bajaj M80 scooter sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 26/07/2007 at 1000 hrs at Nethravathi Bridge Jappinamogru village Mangalore Taluk one driver of new TATA 709 EX-Turbo drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-K-9002. As a result one Shrikanth Shetty rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 25/07/2007 at 1700 hrs accused Ibrahim, Khalid, Ravoof and other two persons all residents of Mangalore forming into an unlawful assembly at Badriya Saw Mill Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk and abuse Raja Bhakshi (37) R/o KTJ Nagar Davangere district and his workers and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 26/07/2007 at 1430 hrs accused Jayanth abused one Ravi (19) R/o Adarshnagar Paladka village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.
  
• A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 25/07/2007 at 2100 hrs at Kabaka Town Puttur Taluk accused one Prem Kumar Shetty assaulted one Annu Mugera P. K. (49) R/o Padenjaru Kabaka village Puttur Taluk him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to financial dispute.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 25/07/2007 at 1730 hrs one Ganesh (58) R/o Yedurupadavu Moodushedde Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into the well near his house while taking bath and died due drowning.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On the intervening night of 25-26/07/2007 one Thippesh (50) R/o Kundur Honnali Shimoga district found dead in his room near Shri Guru Raghavendra hall at Jalsur Sullia Taluk. The death seems to be due to some illness.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Girl missing has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 17/07/2007 one Sumitha (19) R/o Anandanagar Kavoor Mangalore went to Candle factory at Baikampady Mangalore for work and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
