  • A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 04/07/2007 at 2000 hrs and 05/07/2007 at 0830 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Ravindra Nayak R/o Jail road Karangalpady Mangalore by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments (40 grms) and cash Rs. 60,000/ all in worth Rs. 90,000/.

  • A case under House trespass, Outraging the modesty of woman, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 03/07/2007 at 1300 hrs accused Pinto R. L. R/o Pinto Chambers Kavoor Mangalore, Jesintha and another person criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Lilly (44) R/o Pinto Chambers Bejai Mangalore and abused her in filthy language and outrage her modesty by pulling her hand and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her owing to personal enmity.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 04/07/2007 at 1700 hrs at Kottara Chowki Mangalore one Lakshmana driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-9377 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2183 driven by one Gopala Poojary (54) R/o Neerumarga Mangalore Taluk. As a result Tempo got damaged. No casualties reported.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 04/07/2007 at 1500 hrs on NH 17 at Kolandau Bellayuru village Mangalore one Rajesh driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-7677 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-3486 driven by one Lawrence D’Souza from behind. As a result both vehicles got damaged. No casualties reported.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 04/07/2007 at 1700 hrs at Varakabe Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk one Azeez Pradhani driver of KSRTC Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2147 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8094. As a result one Vishwantha Kulal (32) R/o Navoor village Belthangady Taluk driver of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 04/07/2007 at 2000 hrs near Dharmasthala Temple Belthangady Taluk one Shivanna driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. AP-04-1942 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Shifa (14) and Mohammed Nawaz (13) R/o near Dharmasthala Temple Belthangady Taluk the pedestrians and caused them simple injuries.

  • A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 03/07/2007 at 2300 hrs at industrial area Baikampady Mangalore accused Lokesh criminally restrained one Natarajan Pillai (50) R/o Baikampady Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with iron rod and also gave life threat to him owing to pervious enmity.

  • A case under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 03/07/2007 at 1550 hrs one Kaverappa M. Vice Chancellor Mangalore University abused his staff one S.B. Sharma Superintendent, Mangalore University Konaje in filthy language referring to his caste owing to trival issue.

Missing Persons: 01

  • A case of Man missing has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. One Yogish (24) R/o Mandekolu Mamojiyadka Sullia Taluk who left his house on 28/06/2007 at 1900 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
