• A case under Kidnapping has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 07/06/2007 at 1000 hrs one Cinitha Lasrado (24) R/o Nagri Sajipa Moda village Bantwal Taluk while on way to her house accused Haneef along with others kidnapped her.
  
• A case under Cruelty by Husband, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station on the complaint of one Khathijamma (29) R/o Virabari Thekkaru Puttur Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that on 17/07/2007 at 2400 hrs accused Irshadh (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to Khathijamma and assaulted her with wooden stick and also gave life threat to her to bring more dowry.

Fatal: 01

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 18/07/2007 at 1330 hrs at Asaigoli Konaje village Mangalore Taluk one Ashwath Naik driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7198 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-2083. As a result motorcycle rider Aspan (21) sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The pillion rider of said motorcycle Yathiraj Shetty (21) also sustained grievous injuries.

Non-Fatal: 04

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 17/07/2007 at 1700 hrs near Bus stand at KarangalpadiMangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6723 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due to which the vehicle capsized. As a result one Jayanthi Rao. M (50) R/o Pumpwell Mangalore who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 18/07/2007 at 1200 hrs near Sanghanikethan Mannagudde Mangalore one unknown vehicle driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-9246 belonging to one Murugan (19) R/o Bengamale Aivarnadu Sullia Taluk which was parked at roadside. As a result the car got damaged. No casualties reported. The driver of unknown vehicle escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulky Police Station. On 18/07/2007 at 1330 hrs at Hosakaveri Kemral village Mangalore Taluk one Narendra S. rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-3520 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-4973. As a result Maruti Omni car driver Dinesh (20) R/o Mundkur village Karkala Taluk Udupi district, motorcycle rider Narendra S. and pillion rider of the said motorcycle sustained simple injuries. Both the vehicles also got damaged.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 18/07/2007 at 1230 hrs at Kodaje Netlamudnur village Bantwal Taluk one Sirajuddin driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-0894 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Seetharama Police constable of Vittal PS and caused him simple injuries while he was on duty at Kodaje Netlamudnur village Bantwal Taluk.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 18/07/2007 at 1030 hrs one Chandravathi (55) R/o Padpu Bellare village Sullia Taluk while walking near her house accidentally touched the electric wire due she got electrocuted and died.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 18/07/2007 in between 1300 hrs and 1530 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 40 years was found on railway track Kadambodi Idya village Mangalore Taluk. It seems to be a case of suicide.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Woman and Children missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 27/04/2007 one Radha (30) w/o Sheena R/o Kalayi Bellare village Sullia Taluk left her house with her children Rajesh (08), Suresh (05) and Rajeshwari (02) and did not return to her house there after. They have been found missing since then.
