Fatal: 01

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 08/07/2007 at 2200 hrs at Kaikamba Badagulipadi village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-51-2233 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Purushothama (18) sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

Non-Fatal: 02

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 08/07/2007 at 1330 hrs on MG road near R.K. Hostel Mangalore one Machayya driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-12-M-2956 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against to a compound wall. As a result one Boppanna who was traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 07/07/2007 at 1530 hrs at Devasa Kukkipadi village Bantwal Taluk one Dharnappa Gowda driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. CTX-8380 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Basavaraju (34) R/o Hanegal Taluk Haveri district, Gopal, Shabir Ahamad and Abdul Samad who were traveling in the said lorry sustained simple injuries.

• A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 08/07/2007 at 1930 hrs PSI Kavoor PS along with his staff on rounds arrested Shobha (18) and Pradeep Wilson D’Souza (24) who were soliciting for prostitution at public place near Vidyanagara Panjimogaru village Mangalore Taluk.

Unnatural Death Report: 06

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. In between 07/07/2007 and 08/07/2007 at 0645 hrs one Siddarama Talawara (55) was found dead near Pump house at Urwastores Mangalore. The death seems to be due to some illness.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 07/07/2007 at 0830 hrs one Poovappa Poojary (63) accidentally slipped into the Nethravati river while taking bath at Kannur Mangalore Taluk and died due drawing.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 08/07/2007 at 0700 hrs one Sumathi (40) R/o Antony Katte Malavoor village Mangalore Taluk developed chest pain while walking near her house and died on the spot.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. In between 07/07/2007 at 2300 hrs and 08/07/2007 at 0600 hrs at Nadoli Kutrupadi village Puttur Taluk one Vittal Bhat Ghokhale (45) developed chest pain and died on the spot.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 07/07/2007 at 2000 hrs and 08/07/2007 at 1500 hrs one Kusappa Gowda (62) R/o Kuntagllu Ivarnadu village Sullia Taluk accidentally slipped into pond while walking near his house and died due drowning.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 09/07/2007 in between 0915 hrs and 1000 hrs one Durgamma (87) R/o Parari house Koila village Bantwal Taluk while working near her house accidentally touched the electric wire due she got electrocuted and died.
