  • A case under Murder has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 02/07/2007 in between 1030 hrs and 1200 hrs at Vijaya Supari factory Puttur Taluk accused Balasubramanya Bhat and Jayantha murdered one Ananda R/o Padilu Puttur Taluk by strangulating him.

Ordinary Theft: 01

  • A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 30/06/2007 and 02/07/2007 at 0900 hrs in the premise of Sessions court Mangalore some unknown culprits committed theft of 04 window glass shutter doors belonging to Sessions court Mangalore. The total worth of stolen property is Rs. 1,600/.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 02/07/2007 at 1445 hrs at near Ganesh medicals Kankanady Mangalore one Shalikath Ahamed driver of Mahindra Bolero Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-18-M-5304 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-0489. As a result rider Amitha Maria R/o Kuttar padavu Mangalore Taluk and pillion rider Teena sustained simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 01/07/2007 at 1130 hrs at Konchady Derebail village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No.KA-44-400 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6767. As a result the car got damaged. No casualties reported. The lorry driver escaped from the place leaving his vehicle.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 01/07/2007 at 1530 hrs at Sunkadakatte Kolambe village Mangalore Taluk one Madhava Salian rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-S-1874 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Sheik Nisar Ahamad R/o Sauhardha nagar Kolambe village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 01/02/2007 at 1830 hrs at Parpikallu Nidle village Belthangady Taluk one Devaraj driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-41-F-002 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Qualis car bearing Reg. No. KA-03-B-4226. As a result Mallikarjuna Hegde (49) R/o Sakleshapur Hassan driver of Qualis , Vijaya Hegde. S and Dinesh who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.

  • A case under Attempt to Murder has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 02/07/2006 at 1600 hrs at Azizuddin road Mangalore two unknown persons came in motorcycle and assaulted one Charan with iron rod and tried to kill him owing to personal enmity.

  • A case under Hurt has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 02/07/2007 at 1230 hrs at Jyothi bus stand Mangalore accused one unknown person assaulted one Rakesh Madivala (23) R/o K. H.B colony Bondel Mangalore with iron rod. The motive seems to be dispute over timing of the bus routes.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Konaje Police Station. In between 01/07/2007 at 2300 hrs and 02/07/2007 at 0630 hrs one Ganesh (37) R/o Asaigoli Konaje village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by consuming sleeping tablets in his house owing to financial problem.

Missing Persons: 01

  • A case of Girl missing has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. One Chethana (16) D/o Lakshmana Hegde R/o Konkanaje Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk left her house on 26/06/207 at 0500 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
