• A case of Burglary has been registered in Konaje Police Station. In between 06/07/2007 at 1200 hrs and 07/07/2007 at 0800 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Supper Bazar shop at Natekal Mangalore Taluk belonging to one Ismail (35) R/o Natekal Manjanady village Mangalore by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft of cash Rs. 5,500/.
  
• A case of Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On the intervening night of 07-08/07/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Praveen Shetty (31) R/o Talapady village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments of 152 gms, a mobile phone and other articles. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 1,19,000/.

In between 05/07/2007 at 1900 hrs and 06/07/2007 at 06300 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-14-A-8068 belonging to one Ganesh K. (32) R/o Kotekaru Mangalore Taluk that was parked in the premise of Padma Petrol Bank at B.C. Road Town Bantwal Taluk. The Tipper is worth Rs. 4,50,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 07/07/2007 at 1930 hrs at Church Gate road Bolur Manglaore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-9712 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bajaj M80 scooter bearing Reg. No. CRX-590. As a result one Sudesh Gowndalkar (36) R/o Matadakani Mangalore rider of said M80 scooter sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 07/07/2007 at 1900 hrs near way Bridge at Thaneerubavi Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-164 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-6608. As a result Abdul Aziz rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-6608 and Nowshad (19) R/o Bengre Mangalore pillion rider of said motorcycle grievous injuries and rider and pillion rider of another motorcycle also sustained simple injuries.

Bhandary driver of Ford car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-9949 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-8913. As result Ranjith rider of motorcycle, Muzafar Nazar (16) pillion rider of said motorcycle and PGK Bhandary driver of Ford car sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 06/07/2007 at 1900 hrs at Kadaba Town Puttur Taluk one Mazid driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7506 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Raju C.M (45) R/o Kuturpady village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 06/07/2007 at 1610 hrs at Gerukatte Karnad village Mangalore Taluk one Imthiyaz driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-8507 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bicycle. As a result Mallikarjuna rider of rider of said bicycle sustained simple injuries.

On 07/07/2007 at 1345 hrs on NH 48 at Lavathadka Ichalampady village Puttur Taluk one Gous Moideen dirver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-C-4088 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Tavera car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-MB-3051 driven by one Dinesh P. (28) R/o Koramangala Bangalore. As a result car got damaged. No casualties reported.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 07/07/2007 at 0100 hrs at Bappalige Cross Puttur Town one driver of Tipper bearing Reg. No. KA-21-C-2129 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-5007. As a result driver of car Varadaraj Baliga (27) R/o Kadri Mangalore, Seetha Kamath (63) and Preamananda Malya (50) who were traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 07/07/2007 at 2130 hrs one unknown car driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7539. As result motorcycle rider one Lambodara B. J. (45) R/o Nettanige Kasaragod district Kerala State sustained simple injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 07/07/2007 at 2355 hrs at Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Ganesh driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-7132 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against the wall. As a result Raghavendra (24) R/o Billadi village Udupi District, Prashanth and Suresh who were travelling in the said car sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 07/07/2007 at 1530 hrs at Kodaje Netla Mudnur village Bantwal Taluk one driver of Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-3978 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-25-M-9493. As a result Riyaz Hamad Beary (47) driver of Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-25-M-9493 and Doddamani who was travelling in the said car sustined simple injuries.

On 07/07/2007 at 2130 hrs in front of Vani Printers at Puttur Town accused Babu @ Praveena and Jagadeesha came in a Honda activa scooter and abused Vasantha Naik (26) R/o Kombettu Puttur Town and his brother Kiran Kumar in filthy language and assaulted them with sword and tried to kill them owing to personal enmity between Kiran Kumar and accused Jagadeesh.

• A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Staioon. On 07/07/2007 at 2400 hrs at Kumbra Volamogaru village Puttur Taluk 5 unknown persons came in a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-6555 and forming into an unlawful assembly stopped the Pickup vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3819 and abused inmates Ashraf (20) and Ibrahim in filthy language and assaulted them by hand also gave life threat to them.

On 07/07/2007 at 2000 hrs at Panjimogaru junction Mangalore Taluk accused Arun Kumar (29) R/o Kodikal Mangalore and Nisar @ Abdul Nisar (26) R/o Kulur Mangalore assaulted one Ullas Bhandary (31) R/o Panjimogaru village Mangalore Taluk by hand and with brick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 07/07/2007 at 1915 hrs at Panjimogaru junction Mangalore Taluk accused Ullas Bhandary (31), Shailash (21) and Rajith (20) all residents of Panjimogaru village Mangalore Taluk abused Arun Kumar (29) R/o Kodikal Mangalore and Nisar in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

On 07/07/2007 at 1000 hrs on credible information ASI Bantwal PS along with staff conducted a raid at open place at Sharadanagara Munnur village Bantwal Taluk and seized 133 arrack sachets (each 100 ml) of worth Rs. 1,500/ by arresting one Sankappa Poojary (53) R/o Sharadhanagara Sajipa Munnur village Bantwal Taluk who was selling these arrack sachets illegally there.
  
• A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 07/07/2007 at 2015 hrs on credible information ASI Uppinangady PS along with staff conducted a raid at open place at Kuduraya Nidle vilalge Belthangady Taluk and seized 70 arrack sachets (each 100 ml) of worth Rs. 900/ that were being kept illegally for sale. However accused one Kittu Mugera R/o Barengaya Nidle village Belthangady Taluk managed to escape from the scene.
  
• A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 07/07/2007 at 1000 hrs on credible information PSI Mangalore Rural PS along with staff conducted a raid at open place at Silvergate Padavu village Mangalore and seized 205 arrack sachets (each 100 ml) of worth Rs. 2665/ by arresting Sridhara (46) R/o Padavu village Mangalore who was selling these arrack sachets illegally there. However another accused Melwin D’ Silva managed to escape from the scene.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 08/07/2007 at 1000 hrs near the seashore at Panambur Mangalore Taluk one unknown male dead body aged about 40 yrs to 45 yrs was found. This seems to be a case of drowning.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 08/07/2007 at 0400 hrs one Keshava (45) R/o Derebail village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to health problem.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Boy missing has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. One Kishore Kumar (16) R/o Kalenjalu House Rekya village Belthangady Taluk left his house on 27/06/2007 at 1000 hrs and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
