• A case of Attempt to commit Robbery along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 18/07/2007 at 2400 hrs 02 unknown male persons and one unknown woman with a Rifle entered into the premise of house belonging to one Subraya Bhat R/o Nekkiradka Hathyadka village Belthangady Taluk and attempted to commit robbery and also gave life threat to him.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 08/07/2007 at 1845 hrs at Bolar Mangalore one rider of Honda Eterno Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-6761 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Naseema (20) R/o Yemmekere Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 19/07/2007 at 0945 hrs at Shakthinagar cross Kulashekara Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-2008 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Girija (36) R/o Kulshekara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 18/07/2007 at 1500 hrs accused Babu Gowda @ Sundar Gowda and Balakrishna Gowda abused Chandrashekar (35) R/o Yermal Kunthoor village Puttur Taluk and his father Elyanana Gowda in filthy language near their house and assaulted them with wooden stick and sickle and also gave life threat to them owing to civil dispute between Chandrashekara and accused.
  
• A case under Criminal restraint, Wrongful confinement, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 18/07/2007 at 2200 hrs accused Salam, Mausin and others criminally restrained and wrongfully confined one Ajji Kurian (19) R/o Masa hostel Kodialbail Mangalore in a room at Masa hostel Kodialbail Mangalore. Further they assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him.

• A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 19/07/2007 at 1645 hrs on credible information PI Mangalore East along with his staff conducted raid on Anvita Apartments at Kankanady Mangalore and arrested Bhasha (45) R/o Kankanady Mangalore, Musthafa (33) R/o Kankanady Mangalore, Nilshad @ Haseena (18) R/o Attavara Mangalore and Ramlath @ Sayina (20) R/o Thotabengare Mangalore who were soliciting for prostitution there.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 19/07/2007 at 0800 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 30 to 35 years was found at Gurupura river at Dakkhe Mangalore. It seems to be a case of suicide. Identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Man missing has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. One Dheedu Poojary (70) R/o Thimarekodi Paladka village Mangalore Taluk who left his house on 22/06/2007 and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
