- A case of Burglary has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On the night of 23/07/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Ananthaswamy Basadi at Permanu Nada village Belthangady Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of one Panchaloha idol (50 kgs) of Ananthaswamy and a Prabhavali (30 kgs). The stolen property is worth Rs.1, 00,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station where in one Vikas (23) R/o Sankolige Talapady Mangalore Taluk has been declared dead while under treatment on 25/07/2007 at 0655 hrs. The said Vikas was seriously injured by a scooter in a road traffic accident on 24/07/2007 at 1905 hrs on NH17 at Panambur Mangalore Taluk and admitted to the Hospital. In this connection a case has already been registered in Panambur Police Station.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 24/07/2007 at 1320 hrs at Kalle Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Mallikarjuna (22) driver of Swaraj Mazda bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6865 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a new motorcycle. As a result motorcycle rider Mohammad Siddhique and pillion rider Akbar Ali sustained grievous injuries. Further they were admitted to Mangala Nursing Home at Mangalore where in one Mohammad Siddhique succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 1530 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 24/07/2007 at 0815 hrs at near Ullalbagh circle at Mannagudde Mangalore one unknown rider of Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-1158 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sadashiva M. (50) R/o Mannagudda Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The Kinetic Honda rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle from the spot.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 23/07/2007 at 1600 hrs at Kotepura Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one Rahiman driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6543 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ahammad Rafique (08) S/o Atthimolu R/o Ullal village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 23/07/2007 at 1345 hrs on NH 48 near Ashwin complex Bantwal Taluk one Suresh rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-17-V-4762 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-6319. As a result one Shashi Kumar (27) R/o Ajjibettu Bantwal Taluk rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-6319 sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 21/07/2007 at 1130 hrs on NH 48 at Gorakehalla Shiradi village Puttur Taluk one driver of Gas Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7528 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Eicher lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-14-A-0335. As a result one Rahiman Khan (23) R/o Holenarasipura Hassan district driver of said Eicher lorry sustained simple injuries.

On 24/07/2007 at 2300 hrs accused Janardhana Gowda abused one Janardhana Poojary (48) R/o Garadimajalu Kuriyala village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with sickle near his house and damaged the house by pelting stone owing to trivial issue.

On 24/07/2007 at 1700 hrs on credible information PSI Konaje PS along with staff conducted a raid at on shop at Kudhkuli Boliyaru village Mangalore Taluk and seized 320 arrack sachets (each 100 ml) of worth Rs. 3,200/ by arresting one Ananda Poojary (45) R/o Kudhkuli Boliyaru village Mangalore Taluk who was selling these arrack sachets illegally there.
- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 24/07/2007 at 0530 hrs on credible information PSI Ullal PS along with staff conducted raid on the house at Somanathauliya Munnur village Mangalore Taluk and seized 04 cans of illegal arrack (100 liters) and raw materials by arresting one Ivan D’ Souza (32) R/o Somanathauliya Munnur village Mangalore Taluk. The seized property is worth Rs. 5,000/.

In between 24/07/2007 at 1100 hrs and 25/07/2007 at 0600 hrs one Kamala (68) R/o Ajira Barya Village Belthangady Taluk accidentally slipped in to the Nethravathi river at Ajira Barya Village Belthangady Taluk and died due to drowning.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station One Vamana Moolya (65) R/o Thadambail Surathkal Mangalore Taluk left his house on 15/07/200/ at 1600 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. One Mazma (15) R/o Kotepura Ullal village Mangalore Taluk went to school at Kotepura Ullal village Mangalore on 23/07/2007 at 0800 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
