  • A case under Ordinary Theft has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 08/07/2007 and 09/07/2007 some unknown culprits committed theft of 400 meters telephone cable that was fixed to the telephone poles and a telephone pole belonging to BSNL at Gerukatte Mallottu Kalia village Belthangady Taluk. The stolen property is worth Rs. 8,500/.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 10/07/2007 at 1045 hrs at Mallikatte Mangalore one driver of Maruti Aulto car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MF-6830 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Yamaha motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-6870. As a result one Sudeep rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 10/07/2007 at 1645 hrs near busstand at Mullakadu Kavoor village Mangalore one Nagesh driver of Ambassadar car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-3608 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Canon Nazareth R/o Shivanagar Kavoor village Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 10/07/2007 at 1000 hrs near KSRTC bus stand Bejai Mangalore accused Yogisha @ Karia abused one Manjunatha (22) R/o near KSRTC Bejai Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him with blade and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
  • A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 10/07/2007 at 1245 hrs accused Mohammad Sharif (37) R/o Kinnikambla Badagulipadi village Mangalore Taluk and 03 others criminally restrained one Abdul Ghani (35) R/o Badagulipadi village Mangalore Taluk at Suralpadi Badagulipadi village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to previous enmity.

On 05/07/2007 accused Ibrahim (65), Nawaz (25), Ibrahim (30), Zohara (37) and Aisamma (40) all residents of Nittade village criminally trespassed into the shop at Kundadabettu Kukkedi village Belthangady Taluk belonging to one Dayananda K. R/o Sampigenagar Udyawara village Udupi district and committed theft of wooden articles and also damaged the shop. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 3,00,000/.

  • A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 10/07/2007 at 1845 hrs on credible information PSI Kadaba PS along with staff conducted a raid at an open place at Kutrupadi village Puttur Taluk and seized 95 arrack sachets (each 100 ml) of worth Rs. 1,100/ by arresting one Devaki (55) R/o Kutrupadi village Puttur Taluk who was selling these arrack sachets illegally there.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 04/07/2007 at 1730 hrs one Jayaram Rai (40) R/o Kumbra Volamogru village Puttur Taluk consumed poison near BPCL company at Baikampady owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to A.J. hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 10/07/2007 at 0700 hrs.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. In between 07/07/2007 at 1900 hrs and 10/07/2007 at 0700 hrs one Sesamma (55) w/o Annu R/o Peralaguri Nekkiladi village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by jumping in to a well near her house owing to health problem.

Missing Persons: 03

  • A case of Boy missing has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. One Abubakkar Asrin (14) S/o Moiddin Musliyar R/o Aladka Uppinangady left his house on 01/07/2007 at 1800 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
  • A case of Girl missing has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. One Divyashree (23) R/o Puttur who left her relatives house at Kadirudyavara village Belthangady Taluk on 03/07/2007 at 1400 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
  • A case of Girl missing has been registered in Surathakal Police Station On 10/07/2007 at 0800 hrs one Harinakshi (18) D/o Shiva Nalike R/o Thambailu Surathkal Mangalore Taluk went to Surathkal for work and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
