On 05/07/2007 in between 0900 hrs and 1745 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into house belonging to one Venkatakrishna Sharma K. (58) R/o Kaanchodu Balila village Sullia Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 20,000/.

• A case under Intentional insult with provoke the breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 04/07/2007 at 2000 hrs accused one Marappa @ Kappu Marappa (46) R/o Mudshedde village Mangalore Taluk abused one Rani (27) R/o Nisargadhama Mudshedde village Mangalore Taluk near her house in filthy language and assaulted her with steel article and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 05/07/2007 at 2130 hrs at Suralpadi Badagulippadi village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-13-B-7019 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7926. As a result one Harish Kulal (32) R/o Bajagoli Mudaru village Mangalore Taluk driver of said car sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Rioting, Wrongful restraint, Mischief of causing damage along with Hurt has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 06/07/2007 at 1930 hrs accused some unknown persons forming into an unlawful assembly at Porkodi Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk and stopped a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6085 driven by one Fedrick Paul (32) R/o Kadri Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with stone. They also damaged the car by pelting stone owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Affray has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 06/07/2007 at 1615 hrs accused Micheal Lobo, Pushparaj Shetty, Sandeep, Manoj and Charith picked up quarrel and started fighting over a trivial issue in public place at Manalkodi Bajal village Mangalore Taluk. The Police arrested the accused and took up a case under affray.
  
• A case under Seizure of Stolen property has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 07/07/2007 at 0600 hrs near BASF at Bala village Mangalore Taluk PI Surathkal PS on his routine patrolling along with staff apprehended Shabeer (19) R/o Sajipa Munnur village Bantwal Taluk and Prem (18) R/o Bantwal Taluk and seized iron scrapes (80 kg) which they were carrying illegally. The total value of property is worth Rs. 2000/.
