• A case of Burglary has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 15/07/2007 in between 1800 hrs and 2130 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Padmanabha K (47) R/o Abbakkanagar layout Kottara Mangalore by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold, pearl and coral ornaments and cash Rs.48, 000/ all in worth 1,08,000/.

• A case of Burglary has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 15/07/2007 in between 1200 hrs and 2300 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into house belonging to one Zubaida R/o Kambla Surathkal village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs.15,000/ all in worth Rs. 1,50,000/.

• A case of Burglary has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 15/07/2007 in between 1500 hrs and 2030 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Fraxy Antony Pinto (40) R/o Kambala Cross Surathkal village Mangalore by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments, 03 wrist watches and cash Rs. 7,000/ all in worth Rs. 75,000/.

Fatal: 01

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 15/07/2007 at 1745 hrs at Swamila Padavu Mangalore Taluk one Hariprasad rider of Suzuki motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-7351 drove his vehicle in a rash negligent manner and dashed against Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-8979 driven by one Praveen (23) R/o Bajpe Mangalore. As a result Praveen rider of Pulsar motorcycle, Hariprasad rider of Suzuki motorcycle and Naveen pillion rider of Suzuki motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. Further rider of Pulsar motorcycle one Praveen succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 15/07/2007 at 2200 hrs at Urwastores Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-7013 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Muttappa (16) R/o Urwastores Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 14/07/2007 at 1530 hrs at Mudipu Kurnadu village Bantwal Taluk one Keerthi K driver of tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5338 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Abdul Khadar (27) R/o Madyanadka Kurnadu village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulky Police Station. On 15/07/2007 at 1500 hrs near Jarandaya Temple at Elinje village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Scorpio bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MF-2535 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-442 driven by one Vinay Shetty. As a result one Sarojini Shetty (58) R/o Baggaraguttu Elinje village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 13/07/2007 at 1400 hrs at Manihalla Navoora village Bantwal Taluk one Ganesh Sapalya driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-2580 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle of due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Ganesh Sapalya driver of auto rickshaw and Harish Poojary R/o Navoor village Bantwal Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 15/07/2007 at 2100 hrs at Belthangady Town one Anis Sebastian rider of Bullet motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CNS-8004 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-4180. As a result Suresh Acharya rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-4180, pillion rider said motorcycle Yogish, Anis Sebastian rider of Bullet motorcycle and pillion riders of said Bullet motorcycle Joseph and Jaise Monu sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 15/07/2007 at 1000 hrs at Potladka Kaukradi village Puttur Taluk one Richard Fernades driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9389 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result one Marry D' Souza R/o Paddadka Nelyadi village Puttur Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

• A case under Attempt to Murder has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 15/07/2006 at 2345 hrs near Ashoknagar road Urwastores Mangalore Charan Barke and two others assaulted one Subramanya (27)) R/o Mannagudda Mangalore with knife and tried to kill him owing to personal enmity.

• A case under House trespass, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 15/07/2007 at 1200 hrs accused Shinappa Poojary, Mahabala, Pramod and Baby criminally trespassed into the shop at Kallugundi Sampaje village Sullia Taluk belonging to one Abbas and abused one Sharif G. M. (26) R/o Gunadka Sampaje village Sullia Taluk worker of said shop in filthy language and assaulted him by hand also gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity.

• A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 15/07/2007 at 1145 hrs on credible information PSI Kavoor along with his staff conducted a raid on a open place at Kudru Padushedde village Mangalore Taluk and seized (3 lts 950 ml) of illegal liquor by arresting one Voilet D’Souza (35) R/o Kudru Padushedde village Mangalore Taluk. However another accused Oswald D’Souza R/o Kudru Padushedde village Mangalore Taluk manages to escape from the place.
