• A case of Burglary has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 2707/2007 at 1800 hrs and 28/07/2007 at 0900 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Solar lights Pvt. Ltd shop at Kanatilla complex Srirampete Sullia Town by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft of cash Rs. 23,000/.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station where in one Thyampanna Shetty @ Thimmappa Shetty has been declared dead while under treatment on 29/07/2007 at 2045 hrs. The said Thyampanna Shetty @ Thimmappa Shetty was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 29/07/2007 at 1130 hrs at Yenekala Dharmastala village Belthangady Taluk and admitted to the Mangala Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has already been registered in Belthangady Police Station.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 29/07/2007 at 1930 hrs at Santhekatte Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one driver of Goods auto Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-13-8726 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Narayana R/o Ujire Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 29/07/2007 at 1500 hrs near Venkataramana High school at Kulai village Mangalore accused Vishwanath, Sudhir, Dayananda and others one Sarfaraj (18) R/o Janatha colony Idya village Mangalore Taluk by hand and with iron punch owing to trivial issue owing to trivial issue.

• A case under NDPS Act has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 29/07/2007 at 0930 hrs on credible information PSI Konaje PS along with staff arrested one Mohammad Haneef @ Kadri Haneef (33) R/o Eliyarupadavu Amblamogaru village Mangalore Taluk and seized 400 grams of Ganja from his plastic bag. Police apprehended him while he was selling Ganja near bus stand at Eliyarupadavu Mangalore Taluk.
  
• A case of abandoning a newborn child has been registered in Mangalore Woman Police Station on the complaint of one Ramesh K. Police Head Constable of Mangalore South PS. In the complaint it is alleged that on 29/07/2007 at 1530 hrs some unknown persons left their newborn baby near service bus stand Mangalore and went away.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 29/07/2007 at 1500 hrs one Shivamma (80) R/o Badhnaje Ujire village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by pouring kerosene on herself owing to personal problem.
