• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 10/07/2007 at 1300 hrs on G. T Road at Kudroli Mangalore one rider of motorcycle beaing Reg. No. KA-19-W-6817 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Vittaldas Shet (60) R/o Kudroli Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 02/07/2007 at 1900 hrs infront of State Bank at Mallikatte Mangalore one Pramodh driver of TVS motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-0059 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Jaya Prakash R/o Kadri Kambla Mangalore a pedestrian from behind and caused him grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 10/07/2007 at 0815 hrs near Presidency Apartment at Attavara Mangalore one driver of Maxi Cab bearing Reg. No. KA-19-7689 drove his vehicle in a rash negligent manner in a backward direction and dashed against compound wall. As a result one Rich Pinto (05) R/o Hoyge bazaar Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said Maxi cab sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 11/07/2007 at 1730 hrs accused Jagannatha Gowda, Sundara Gowda, Rathnakara Gowda, Subraya Gowda, Nagesh Gowda and Rathnakara Achary forming into an unlawful assembly at Nekkelu Hathyadka village Puttur Taluk abused one Keshava Rao (40) R/o Nekkelu Hathyadka village Puttur Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with stone. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 11/07/2007 at 1700 hrs at Nekkelu Hathyadka village Puttur Taluk accused Keshava Rao, Krishnayya Gowda, Padhmayya Gowda and Vittal Shettigar abused one Vasantha Gowda (29) R/o Mujinadu Hathyadka village Puttur Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand with stone. They also assaulted Sunadara Gowda by hand and with stone who came to help Vasantha Gowda and gave life threat to them. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 11/07/2007 at 1700 hrs one Sudhakara (26) R/o Kodialabailu house Sullia Taluk while working near his house accidentally touched the electric wire due he got electrocuted and died.
