• A case of Burglary has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. In between 11/07/2007 at 1130 hrs and 12/07/2007 at 0500 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Imran A. M (19) R/o Ammemar Pudu village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of cash Rs. 20,000/.

• A case under Ordinary Theft has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On the intervening night of 07-08/07/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry in to the Lokanatheshwara Temple at Nidigal Kanyadi village Belthangady Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of three Copper idol and cash Rs. 200/ from ‘Kanike Hundi’. The total worth of stolen property is Rs. 17,200/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 11/07/2007 at 2300 hrs on NH 48 at Thumbe Bantwal Taluk one Mohan driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-6294 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Zen car bearing Reg. No. KA-03-P-7186. As a result Ummar Faroque (33) R/o Sujeer Pudu village Bantwal Taluk driver of car, Sheik Nazim and Hidhayathulla who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 11/07/2007 at 1105 hrs at Polya Kabaka village Puttur Taluk one Mariyaraj driver of Tanker beaing Reg. No. AP-16-TU-0339 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-5327. As a result driver of jeep Parameshwara S. Gowda (52) R/o Seraje Vittal Bantwal Taluk, Harshitha (14), Sanjeeva Shetty (45), Mallika (36) and Seetha (65) who were traveling in the said jeep sustained grievous injuries.

• A case under Intentional insult with provoke the breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 12/07/2007 at 1100 hrs at Bangrakulur Mangalore accused Melwin and Rocky abused one Umadas Kini (43) R/o Bangrakulur Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand. They also assaulted one Kamalasethi with iron rod who came to help Umadas Kini also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

On 12/07/2007 at 1645 hrs near Vidhyagiri Puttige village Mangalore Taluk accused Ashoka and others abused one Mohammad Husam (22) R/o Court road Udupi district in filthy language and assaulted him by hand with iron rod. They also assaulted Muralidhara and Athul with iron rod who came to help Mohammad Husam and also gave life threat to them owing to previous enmity.

On 11/07/2007 at 1730 hrs at Kuddu Padavu Bantwal Taluk one Gopala Patali stopped a car bearing Reg. No. KL-14-T-378 and abused the driver of said car one Lathif (33) R/o Shanthi moole Kanyana village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with iron rod and also gave life threat to him owing to pervious enmity.

On 11/07/2007 at 1830 hrs at Kuddhu padavu Bantwal Taluk one Lathif came in a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KL-14-T-378 and criminally restrained a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-5244 and abused the rider of said motorcycle one Gopala Patali R/o Kuddhu Padavu Kepu village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to pervious enmity.

• A case under Criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 12/07/2007 at 1745 hrs one Bhaskara driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-357 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sharath PSI (Prob.) Puttur Town PS and Eliyas Police constable of Puttur Town PS while they were on duty at Mura Kabaka village Puttur Taluk and caused them greivous injuries.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. In between 09/07/2007 at 1400 hrs and 12/07/2007 at 1500 hrs one Sheena (30) R/o Padavu nalke Navoor village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by hanging at Periyar Devasyapadur village Bantwal Taluk owing to personal problem.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. In between 11/07/2007 and 12/07/2007 at 0900 hrs one Chandrahasa Shetty (34) R/o Enjira Noojibalthila village Puttur Taluk developed chest pain in his room and died.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Woman missing has been registered in Barke Police Station. One Usha (22) w/o Umesh R/o Barke Mangalore left her house along with her relative one Mohan on 04/07/2007 at 1030 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
