- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station where in one Filex D’Souza was declared dead while under treatment on 30/09/2006 at 1030 hrs. The said Felix D’Souza was seriously injured in a road traffic accident on 29/09/2006 at 0820 hrs at Pakshikere Kemral village Mangalore Taluk and admitted to A.J Hospital Mangalore. In this connection case was already registered in Mulki Police Station.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Urva Police Station. On 01/09/2006 at hrs at Kuntikhana junction on NH 17 one Harish (30) R/o Sullia driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6397 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed to an Autorickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-4422. As a result the two passengers of travelling in the autorickshaw viz Purushottam Shettigar (50) and Chandrashekhar (55) both residents of Derebail Konchadi village Mangalore taluk sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. Further the rickshaw driver Murali sustained serious injuries.

On 29/09/2006 at 2330 hrs near Kuntikana Junction Derebail village Mangalore Taluk one Rangaswami driver of Tata 407 Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-22-A-4658 drove in his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-961. As a result auto rickshaw driver one Velarian Pais (35) R/o Barebail Bejai Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries. The Tempo driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 29/09/2006 at 1945 hrs near Rosario Saw Mill at Panjimogaru village Mangalore Taluk one unknown driver of new Tipper Lorry drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6373. As a result Shabarish and Sudharshan who were travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries. The auto rickshaw also got damaged. The Tipper driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 30/09/2006 at 0900 hrs on NH 13 Ganjimatta Badagagulipadi village Mangalore Taluk one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-7067 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-2281. As a result one Krishnappa (25) R/o Malali Mogaru village Mangalore Taluk pillion rider of the motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-2281 sustained simple injuries. The rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-7067 escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 29/09/2006 at 1900 hrs at NH 48 Shiradi village Puttur Taluk one Saleem Shaheen driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-44-288 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the Lorry capsized. As a result driver of Lorry Saleem Shaheen and cleaner Tabaraq Khan (19) R/o J.C. Pura Halli Arasikere village Hassan District sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 30/09/2006 at 0830 hrs at Bappalige Puttur Taluk one Yashodhara rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-7549 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Niranjan (26) R/o Madattaru house Vittal Mudnur village a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 30/09/2006 at 1650 hrs on NH 48 at Kalladka Golthamajalu village Bantwal Taluk one Janson rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-9922 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Tata Seira Car bearing Reg. No. KA-03-N-4574 driven by one Krishna Rao L R/o BDS Layout Hegde Nagar Bangalore. As a result motorcycle rider Jonson sustained simple injuries. Both the vehicle got damaged.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 01/10/2006 at 0645 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 35 yrs was found in Arabian Sea at Hilariya Town Ullal village Mangalore Taluk. It seems to be a case of drowning.
