The said Prakunhi was seriously injured in a road traffic accident on 28/10/2006 at 2000 hrs at Samadka Karopady village Bantwal Taluk and admitted to Unity hospital Mangalore. In this connection a case was already registered in Vittal Police Station.

Abdul Rahiman and pillion rider Abdul Khadhar sustained simple injures. The Bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

It is alleged in the complaint that accused Management of Design Nest shop at Trade Centre Bunts Hostel Mangalore committed criminal breach of trust to one Manohar (28) R/o Nerambottu house Bantwal Taluk by taking Rs. 10,000/ from him for a job at Design Nest Shop. On 30/10/2006 the company closed their office and cheated Manohar and other around 1,000 persons who had given Rs. 10,000/ each for job in said thw company by not offering the job to them.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. One Harish Jain (40) R/o Kollangalu house Valpadi village was committed suicide by consuming poison in his house on 30/10/2006 in between 0700 hrs and 1000 hrs owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal police Station. On 29/10/2006 at 1900 hrs one Keshava Das (38) R/o Nerlaje house Idkidu village accidentally fell into the pond while walking near his house and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulky Police Station. One Selvi (04) D/o Chennaswami R/o Ikala village Mangalore Taluk accidentally fell into the pit while playing near her house and got serious injuries. She was admitted to Wenlock hospital Mangalore and while on treatment she was declared dead on 29/10/2006 at 1730 hrs.
