On 01/10/2006 at 1130 hrs near Wenlock hospital Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sukumara A.E (62) R/o Nehru Nagar Manipal Udupi District a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 03/10/2006 at 1730 hrs near Vivekananda College at Puttur town one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-6936 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7990. As a result one Soniya U.S. (20) R/o Chembu village Sullia Taluk a passenger in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-21-E-7772 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-5113. As a result pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-5113 and riders of both motorcycles sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-21-E-5701 from behind. As a result motorcycle rider Manjunatha R/o Shanthinagar Ujire village and pillion rider his wife Padmavathi (56) sustained simple injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 28/09/2006 at 1100 hrs one Seetha (30) R/o Baremelu house Belalu village Belthangady Taluk was admitted to Lady Goshen hospital Mangalore for delivery. She gave birth to a child on 29/09/2006. As her condition deteriorated, she was shifted for further treatment to Wenlock hospital where she died while under treatment on 03/10/2006.
- A case of Unanatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 03/10/2006 at 0900 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 25 years was found near Brake water Panambur Mangalore Taluk. It seems to be a case of drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 03/10/2006 at 1230 hrs one Elaf Mohammed Ismail (46) R/o Jeppu Bappal Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped and washed away in the sea while he was taking bath at Seashore Panambur and died due to drowning.
