- A case of house gambling under Karnataka Police Act has been detected in Mangalore East Police Station limits. On 20/10/2006 at 1900 hrs on credible information Mr.Chandrashekhar PI Mangalore East Police Station along with his staff conducted a raid on Sri Ram Recreation club at Sanjeeva Complex Kulashekar Mangalore Taluk. At the time of raid Police found 08 persons playing “Ander- Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs.590/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Janardhana @ Baby, Dayananda (44) and Rajesh (20) who were indulged in gambling. However four others managed to escape.
