  • A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 05/01/2009 in between 1700 hrs and 2000 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a TVS motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-3555 belonging to one Raghunatha Pai R/o Derebail Mangalore that was parked in front of Gopalakrishna Transport at J.M. 4th cross road Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 10,000/.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 19/01/2009 at 1345 hrs near Petrol Bank at Aryasamaja road Mangalore one Cliphered Leo D’ Souza rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-2415 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-31-L-3685. As a result Shameer H. Pathan rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-31-L-3685 and Vinith Bolar (21) R/o Pandeshwara Mangalore pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 19/01/2009 at 0815 hrs near Ayyappa Temple at Deralakatte Belma village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Van bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-0660 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-6539. As a result one Vincent D’Souza (30) R/o Boliyar village Mangalore Taluk rider of motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

  • A case under Criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty along with Attempt to murder has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 19/01/2009 at 1400 hrs accused driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-9793 and 3 other persons abused the policemen Narendra HC 1330 and Bhaskara CPC 1370 in filthy language and also assaulted them with iron rod and tried to kill them while they are on duty at Palthaje Saletthooru village Bantwal Taluk .

  • A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Mischief of causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 19/01/2008 at 1730 hrs accused Yogish, Krishna, Rocky, Bhaskara and Mahesh forming into an unlawful assembly in the Dhanaraj Bar & Restaurant at Mangalore and abused one Udaya Rai (40) R/o Kaprigudde Mangalore in filthy language and damaged the showcase glass by pelting soda bottle and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

  • A case under Hurt, Mischief of causing damage along with Criminal restraint has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 19/01/2009 at 1330 hrs accused 4 unknown persons assaulted one Naveen D’Souza (27) R/o Bajal Padil Mangalore by hand near Rao & Rao circle at Mangalore and damaged the shop by pelting stone and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
  • A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 17/01/2009 at 2300 hrs accused one Kishore R/o Saroli Narimogaru village Puttur Taluk assaulted one Sachin (40) R/o Saroli Narimogaru village Puttur Taluk with knife near his house and gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue

Unnatural Death Report: 01

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 19/01/2009 at 0900 hrs one dead body of Madhava Gowda (65) R/o Sarakootel Mandekolu village Sullia Taluk was found near Hale Majale School at Nalkoor village Sullia Taluk The death seems to be some illness.
