On 04/01/2009 at 1100 hrs PSI Belthangady PS along with his staff on credible information intercepted a Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-5533 near Mooru Marga junction at Belthangady Town and seized 15 wooden logs worth Rs. 6,50,000/ that were being transported illegally by arresting.

- Abdul Majeed (45) R/o Charmady village Belthangady Taluk.
The Lorry has also been seized. In this connection, a case has been registered in Belthangady PS under the Karnataka Forest Act.
