On 17/02/2007 at 0045 hrs on credible information PSI Sullia PS along with staff intercepted an Ambassador car bearing Reg. No. CTX-7812 at Kanthamangala Payasvini bridge Sullia Town and seized 3,000 arrack sachets (each 100 ML) being transported illegally by arresting one Sunil Kumar (26) R/o Sullia Town driver of the car. The car has also been seized.
The total value of property seized is worth Rs. 85,000/
In this connection, a case has been registered in Sullia Police Station under the Karnataka Excise Act.
