In between 07/02/2007 at 2100 hrs and 08/02/2007 at 0900 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Super Market Shop at Surathkal Mangalore by removing the roof tiles and committed theft of cosmetics and other grocery items all in worth Rs. 23,500/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On the night of 07-08/02/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Anish Electrical at Main Road Puttur Taluk belonging to one Murali H. (36) and committed theft of winding wires all in worth Rs. 24,000/.

On 29/01/2007 in between 2030 hrs and 2130 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-680 belonging to one Shriraj K.V. (30) R/o Udinoor Kasaragod Kerala that was parked at the premise of Unity Hospital Falnir Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 18,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 08/02/2007 at 2000 hrs on NH-13 at Bannadka Pranthya village one Basheer driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7969 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-4955. As a result motorcycle rider Rajesh and pillion rider Guruprasad sustained grievous injuries. Further pillion rider Guruprasad succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 08/02/2007 at 1545 hrs at Guddadka Kanakamajalu village Sullia Taluk one Mundappa Rai U driver of KSRTC Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-1470 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and suddenly applied break due which one Fathima (04) D/o Khateeja R/o Aletti village Sullia Taluk who was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

No. KA-19-Q-3407 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Charan Shetty (32) R/o Gorigudda Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 07/01/2007 at 2130 hrs near Bunts hostel Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-9473 drove her vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Somappa (59) R/o Kavoor Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The Kinetic Scooter rider escaped from the place without stopping her vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 08/02/2007 at 1630 hrs at Bikarnakatte Mangalore one Raju driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-16-A-8940 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Maruti WagonR car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-8474 driven by one Stanley Pinto R/o Shaktinagar Mangalore from behind. Further auto rickshaw driver lost his control and dashed against another new Maruti Van. As a result auto rickshaw driver Raju sustained simple injuries and all the three vehicles got damaged.

On 08/01/2007 at 2100 hrs at Kamblapadavu Mudipu Karnadu village Bantwal Taluk one Vijaya Kumar Cutinha driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-3425 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Shiva (25) R/o Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 06/02/2007 at 2015 hrs at Boluvaru Puttur Town one Shashi driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-06-M-2560 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-5043. As a result motorcycle rider one Vigneshwara (23) R/o Nellikatte Puttur Taluk sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 08/02/2007 at 1440 hrs in front of Somayaji Industries Bantwal Taluk one Kubendran K driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-01-AC-4159 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-8396 driven by one Shridhara Karanth (50) R/o Uppala Kasargod district. As a result the car got damaged. No causalities reported.

In the complaint it is alleged that one Jyothi Shetty (36) R/o Kottara Derebail Mangalore committed criminal breach of trust to Geetha by not returning her Tata sumo vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-13-M-3812 that was given by her to the accused in the month of April 2006.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. One Sukmuara (21) R/o Thenkayedapadavu village Mangalore Taluk consumed poison on 08/02/2007 at 0930 hrs in his house owing to personal problem. He was admitted to A.J. Hospital Mangalore where declared dead while under treatment on 08/02/2007 at 0930 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 08/02/2007 in between 1000 hrs and 1200 hrs one Abraham K.D (65) R/o Neriya village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 08/02/2007 in between 1100 hrs and 1200 hrs one Yashodhara (26) R/o Agardabailu Mudupadukodi village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by jumping into pond near his house owing to personal problem.
