The Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the recruitment of Armed Police Constables (APCs) for Dakshina Kannada Police was conducted today (21/02/2007) at the DAR Police Parade grounds Mangalore. Out of total of 60 candidates who were qualified for the test based on their performance in the written examination in the ratio of 1:5 for 12 vacancies; 48 candidates turned up for today's test. Of these while 21 candidates got disqualified in the PST; 02 candidates got eliminated in the PET.
Thus, a total of 25 candidates have been found eligible after this PST/PET test. Of these, 12 persons will be finally selected based on their marks in the qualifying examination, performance in the written examination and category to which they belong. This process may take at least a week.
The final select list will be published in due course.
