- A case of Burglary has been registered in Panambur Police Station. In between 30/01/2007 at 2200 hrs and 31/01/2007 at 0800 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Plasmo Plastic Factory at Industrial Area Baikampady Mangalore belonging to one Abdul Khadar by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft of 07 bags of Plastic packets. The stolen property is worth Rs. 17,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulky Police Station. On 31/01/2007 at 2230 hrs on NH-17 near Kolnadu Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Pickup Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3741 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-2344. As a result motorcycle rider Imran and pillion rider Razak sustained grievous injuries. Further motorcycle rider Imran got admitted to Tejaswini hospital Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries on 01/02/2007 at 0330 hrs while under treatment.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 31/01/2007 at 1800 hrs at Jyothi circle Mangalore one Zector Mescarenhas rider of unknown motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rajarama Shetty (68) R/o Light house hill road Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 31/01/2007 at 1600 hrs on M.G. road at Kodiyalgutthu Mangalore one driver of Maruti WagonR car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-6433 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-7212. As a result motorcycle rider one Ibrahim R/o Arkula Farangipete sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 31/01/2007 at 1000 hrs at Urwa Junction Mangalore one driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8613 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-982. As a result motorcycle rider one Ananda (63) R/o Marigudi Residency Urwa Mangalore sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 30/01/2007 at 1500 hrs at Pranjakatte Pajeeru village Bantwal Taluk one Chandra Kumar rider of new TVS Star city motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Chandra Kumar and pillion rider Divakara R/o Padavu Mangalore sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Cheating has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station on the complaint of one Jethesh (32) R/o Subhash Nagara Padeshwara Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Jameela Brown, Bill Aran, Pedro George, Lord Frank, Jennifer Johnson, Sidib Bobkar contacted Jithesh through internet and took a sum of Rs. 13,81,518/ from him for granting a job at USA. After receiving the money they cheated Jethesh by not providing the job appointment letter and air ticket.

On 31/01/2007 at 2400 hrs accused Nagaraja Bhandary R/o Car Street Mangalore and Nithish Kumar R/o Manngudda Mangalore criminally restrained and abused one Lakshmana Kudva (19) R/o Car Street Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to them owing to personal enmity.
- A case under Hurt has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 31/01/2007 at 0900 hrs accused one Govinda Prasad assaulted one Narayana Bhat (49) R/o Kukkupuni house Nippalli village Puttur Taluk with wooden stick near his house owing to civil dispute.
- A case under Criminal trespass, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 30/01/2007 at 1700 hrs accused Anni Poojary and his wife Kusuma criminally trespassed into the land belonging to one Devu Poojary (58) R/o Amtady village and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him and his son Padmanabha with wooden stick and also gave life threat to them owing to civil dispute.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 31/01/2007 at 0530 hrs one Mahabala Karkera (50) R/o Jokatte Kodikal Mangalore committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 30/01/2007 at 1930 hrs one unknown person aged about 25 to 30 yrs accidentally slipped into the Falguni river at Kunjathabail Mangalore. Further he was rescued and admitted to Wenlock hosptial Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatement on the same day at 1430 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. In between 29/01/2007 at 1800 hrs and 31/01/2207 at 1000 hrs one Anni Achari R/o Badakodi village Belthangady Taluk accedentally slipped into a pound while walking near his house and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 29/01/2007 at 1230 hrs and 31/01/2007 at 1315 hrs one Rayan Crasta committed suicide by consuming poison in his room at Akshaya Lodge at Bantwal owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. One Yashodahara (18) R/o Konkandipalu house Shambur village accidentally slipped into a well near his house while taking water form the well and died due drowning.
Missing Persons: 01
- A case under Girls missing has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 31/01/2007 at 0900 hrs three minor girls who went to Nethaji Govt. School Deralakatte Belma village Mangalore did not return to their house there after. They have been found missing since then.
