- A case under Burglary has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 21/02/2007 at 0300 hrs accused Arun Kumar (20) R/o Urwa and Sudhir R/o Ashoknagara Mangalore gained entry into the house of one Chandrahas R/o Sulthan Batheri Mangalore by breaking the window and committed theft of sound box. Further accused were arrested along with stolen property at Urwa market Mangalore by Head constable Krishna and staff who were on rounds in the area.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 21/02/2007 at 1600 hrs at Mittur Idkidu village Bantwal Taluk one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-13-319 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a TVS Victor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-1718. As a result pillion rider Sumana sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The motorcycle rider Radhakrishna also sustained grievous injuries and died on the way to the hospital.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 21/02/2007 at 2145 hrs at Katte Sullia Town one Chandrashekara driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8462 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-5933. As a result motorcycle rider one Ravindra (40) R/o Kodippadi village Puttur Taluk sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 21/02/2007 at 1205 hrs at Lalbhagh Mangalore one Deepak driver of Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-9363 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-7494 from behind which was driven by one Rajesh (22) due which he lost control and rammed to another car from front. As a result all three vehicles got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 21/02/2007 at 0650 hrs at Sharabath Katte Mangalore when Esaila Vas (51) R/o Bendoorwell Mangalore a passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2466 fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries while getting down as the driver of the bus one Vinod Kumar moved the bus in a negligent manner.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 20/02/2007 at 1600 hrs at Niddody Mangalore Taluk one Vittala S Saliyan driver of Maruti omini bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-6627 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which car capsized. As a result one Santhosh Kumar (25) R/o Niddodi village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the Maruti omni sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 21/02/2007 at 1030 hrs near Dhumavathi Bhanta Temple Panemangalore village Bantwal Taluk one Udaya Rai driver of Tipper bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2401 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another Lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-14-C-1482. Further Tipper driver lost control over his vehicle and dashed against one Abdul Rahman a pedestrian. As a result pedestrian Abdul Rahman and Narayana a loader of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-14-C-1482 sustained simple injuries.

- A case of attempt to commit criminal breach of trust and cheating has been registered in Kavoor Police Station where in it is alleged that accused Govinda Raj Nayak, Usha G Nayak and Dinesh Acharya came to Corporation Bank Kavoor Mangalore on 21/02/2007 at 1100 hrs and produced the fake gold ornaments (32 gms) requesting for a loan of Rs.35,000/ and attempted to cheat the Bank.

- A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 20/02/2007 at 1300 one Ivan Lajaras Monthero R/o Permannur village Mangalore Taluk attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem. He died while on the way to hospital.
