• A case under MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 16/02/2007 at 1900 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of Hero Honda motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-6217 belonging to one Mohan Raj R/o Kolya Mangalore that was parked in the premise of KMC Attavara Mangalore .

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 17/02/2007 at 2100 hrs near Sri Vidya Yuvaka Mandala Haleyangady village Mangalore Taluk one Prashanth (21) rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-3316 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Electric pole. As a result the motorcycle rider Prashanth sustained serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
  
• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 18/02/2007 at 0530 hrs at Kodialbail Mangalore one Madhusudhana driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-4459 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Balakrishna Shetty (56) R/o Lakshminagar Apartments near PVS Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further the car driver lost control over his vehicle due which the car capsized and the car driver also sustained grievous injuries. The pedestrian Balakrishna Shetty admitted to City hospital Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 0715 hrs.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 16/02/2007 at 1945 hrs near Motimahal Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5313 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-4800. As a result motorcycle rider one Nithendra Kumar (24) R/o Britto Lane Mangalore and pillion rider Rajashree Pandya sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 17/02/2007 at 2120 hrs at Bejai Junction Mangalore one Abdul Gafoor rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-8929 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Abdul Gafoor and pillion rider Kabir sustained simple injuries and another pillion rider of said motorcycle escaped from the place.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 16/02/2007 at 1930 hrs at Kana Idya village Mangalore Taluk one Dinesh Babu driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. AP-10-U-8555 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Mahadeva (35) R/o Savadathi Taluk Belgaum district sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 17/02/2007 at 1700 hrs in front of M.V. Shetty college Panjimogaru village Mangalore Taluk one Lawrence Ravi driver of Mahindra Pickup vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2283 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4003 from behind which was parked at roadside. Further pickup driver lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result pickup driver Lawrence Ravi and Vasu U. who was traveling in the said pickup sustained simple injuries and both the vehicles got damaged.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 16/02/2007 at 1600 hrs on NH-48 at Kodyakal Shiradi village one Thippe Reddy driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AE-9054 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Tanker driver Thippe Reddy, Tanker cleaner Raghu and Manjunatha who was traveling in the said Tanker sustained grievous injuries.

• A case under Criminal breach of trust by public servant has been registered in Subhramanya Police Station on the complaint of one R. S Fernandez Development Officer, Co-operative Society Sullia. In the complaint it is alleged that one Latha while she was working as Secretary of Milk Co-operative Society at Panja Sullia Taluk between the years 2003 and 2004 committed criminal breach of trust to the said society by misusing the cash of Rs. 11,141.10/.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. One Thasriya (15) D/o Ummar R/o Karyadi Kula village consumed poison on 09/02/2007 at 0800 hrs owing to personal problem. Further she was admitted to A.J. hospital Mangalore where she was declared dead on 17/02/2007 at 1030 hrs while under treatment .
