- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 07/02/2007 at 1235 hrs at Bikarnakatte Mangalore Taluk one unknown driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-9706 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a TVS Scooty bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1034. As a result Scooty rider Shashikala Shetty (36) R/o Vamanjur village Mangalore and her child sustained grievous injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 07/02/2007 at 0645 hrs on NH-17 at Kallapu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one Manoj Kumar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg.No. KA-19-L-8439 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-6962. As a result motorcycle rider Prashanth (28) R/o Jeppu Mangalore and pillion rider Rohini (23) R/o Maroli Kulshekar Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

On 07/01/2007 at 1415 hrs on NH-17 at Ambika Road Junction Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one Sanjeev driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-3999 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Scootor bearing Reg.No.KA-19-H-3380. As a result Scooter rider Dayananda (35) R/o Kadambar Manjeshwara and pillion rider Devappa Shetty (59) R/o Varkadi village Manjeshwara Kerala State sustained grievous injuries. The Bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
