- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 06/02/2007 and 07/02/2007 at 0500 hrs one Hoovayya Gowda (62) R/o Malavanthige village Belthangady Taluk consumed poison in his house owing to health problem. He was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on 09/02/2007 at 0530 hrs.
