- A case under Servant Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 10/02/2007 at 1900 hrs accused Shekara Gowda, Mallu, Sharanu, Reddy, Patel, Ajay and Hema Reddy who were working as sales men in Mahaveera Marketing at Bibi Alabi Road Mangalore committed theft of cash Rs. 15,000/ and 10 cookers (10 lts) and 5 mixer Grinders from the shop belonging to one Ashwin M. Jain (26) R/o Mangalore all in worth Rs. 24,000/.

- A case under MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 08/02/2007 in between 1715 hrs and 1720 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of Bajaj M-80 Motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-8406 belonging to one Chandrahas Bhat (38) R/o Pandeshwara Mangalore that was parked in front of Raja Coffee shop at Central Market Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 12,000/.

- A case under Outraging the modesty of woman along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 13/02/2007 at 1845 hrs accused Razaq Shet R/o Bengre village abused one Beepathumma (45) R/o Bengre village Mangalore in filthy language near her house and outraged her modesty by pulling her hand also gave life threat to her and her husband Farooq. The motive seems to be personal enmity between accused and Farooq.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 13/02/2007 at 1115 hrs in front of Taluk office Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-878 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Susheela (62) R/o Aashraya colony Surathkal Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. Further the bus driver lost control over his vehicle and dashed against a Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-6436. As a result Scooter rider one Rajeev (45) also sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 12/02/2007 at 1600 hrs at Thokuru Idiya village Mangalore one Velu driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-05-D-7119 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Chandu (65) R/o Kana Idya village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 12/02/2007 at 1730 hrs on NH 48 at Kalladka Golthamajalu village one Usman Imthiyaz driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5911 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-9060. As a result motorcycle rider Bhaskara (30) R/o Bolanthur village Bantwal Taluk and pillion rider Aithappa @ Krishna (30) sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 03/02/2007 at 2100 hrs at Kuriyala Bantwal Taluk one Dinesha driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8626 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Lakshman (38) R/o Ulayibettu village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place.

- A case of abandoning a new born child has been registered in Mangalore Woman Police Station on the complaint of one Prabhavathi Karkera R/o Kudroli Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that on 13/02/2007 at 1700 hrs some unknown persons left their newborn baby inside KSRTC bus at service bus stand Mangalore and went away.
